Which would you rather have?
It's a tossup for me. Because my loyalty tends to be with GM, I would go with the Cobalt. It's a liitle more aggresive looking as well.

What Axiom?...:)....thanks for the headsup...I mistakenly uploaded that one. I edited the posting.

Torando (60's) retrospective
Razor, that is a great photograph of the Toro engine and car...beautifully done. I can't remember now where I got that. ....and Razor, your recipe for a Toronado is so good!...man, shouldn't you be working for GM in it's engineering department, it's design department, it's revival of Oldsmobile department?.....they need people like you. ....and you are so right, the first Toronado was such a sensation for being fwd...now it's everywhere and unpopular with many auto enthusiasts.

2007 Dodge Nitro
Good comparo, the Vue and the Nitro!...lol...even the names are gender based. Would a guy drive a Vue named after a girls talk show?...or something explosive like Nitro? Now, would a girl drive this Vue?....tough call.

LeSabre or LaCrosse
I like both these cars for their individual merits. What would sway me is the LaCrosse's better interior.

Grand Touring Cars
You are right Razor, it will be an uphill battle. Just say no. Don't go there. Most people now have an image of GT as something that is sporty or has a sporty image. It really has lost all meaning. Razor, just say no lol.

Grand Touring Cars
Razor, those are proper GTs.....and probably able to race as they came from the factory.

The Ultimate Chick Car
Yes, watch out when a chick has power in a car.....talk about aggressive, I see it all the time....and by aggressive, I mean a bit reckless.

2007 Dodge Nitro
It seems to be a bit retro, looking like old Dodge Power Wagons from the past.

The Ultimate Chick Car
Carguy's definition in a nutshell. Chick Car definition: A small, fwd motorized conveyance. It is usually 'cute' looking like a baby version of a larger car.

2007 Dodge Nitro
It's surprising that Dodge is going into Jeep's territory.

Grand Touring Cars
The 'GT' label has been so watered down now, nobody knows anymore what it means. Probably the most abused label for a car. I like FIA's definitioin: FIA Grand Touring Car definition 'An open or closed automobile which has no more than one door on each side and a minimum of two seats situated one on each side of the longitudinal centre line of the car; these two seats must be crossed by the same transversal plane. This car must be able to be used perfectly legally on the open road, and adapted for racing on circuits or closed courses'.

....love this ad for Toronado, even the engine is a work of art here:

Good luck with this one
(This is off-topic but slightly related. Balthazar in your research and reading, have you ever come across a three-wheeled vehicle that was 'created' by a cross dresser guy and was part of a hoax, scam?...I faintly recall something like that)

2007 Dodge Nitro
Here's the concept:

Good luck with this one
yes, but does it come in a convertible like the dreamy three-wheeled Davis?

2007 Dodge Nitro
http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Featu...rticleId=107108 Dodge was noncommittal about the production prospects of the Dodge Nitro concept when it first appeared at the 2005 Chicago Auto Show, but nobody was fooled. It looked ready for production and our latest spy pictures prove that the 2007 Dodge Nitro is headed for showrooms. The pictures clearly show that little has changed on the Jeep Liberty-based Nitro from its concept. There's none of the extensive chrome trim that adorned the flashy concept, but it does look as though it will keep a fairly aggressive set of wheels and tires. The Nitro's looks are also said to be derived in part from the quirky Dodge M80 pickup concept which appeared at the 2002 Detroit Auto Show. The M80 ended up bombing with consumer focus groups, who much preferred an SUV version of the vehicle, branded the M81. Hence, the Dodge Nitro, which, in terms of its face, actually looks a bit like the M80, if you can see beyond the latter's Herbie-esque rounded headlamps. As mentioned earlier, the underpinnings of the Nitro come straight from a familiar source — the Jeep Liberty. The Nitro's wheelbase is 4 inches longer while the overall length is barely an inch longer. While it's expected to lack some of the Liberty's off-road capabilities, the Nitro will still be a genuine 4x4. Low-range gearing might be left off the spec sheet, but expect a fairly capable all-weather SUV. The absence of a Jeep-style rear-mounted spare tire gives Dodge the opportunity to maximize the 2007 Nitro's cargo space, and the concept featured a rear storage area with a capacity of 32 cubic feet. No word yet on whether it will feature the handy sliding cargo shelf shown on the concept. Look for the production Nitro to go on sale around this time next year.

Lacrosse outsells Chrysler 300
The LaCrosse to me is a Buick of the recent past. It's a good car in it's own right. But it's not where Buick should be. I want more form Buick. I've been in one with a black interior and it's very impressive. I like it. But it still comes across as a Regal with a better interior. I was hoping for more.

2006 Honda Civic
Well, there's do denying it, the Si is very sharp. Not sure if it has any connection with the Fiero :)

Pontiac - New Model Arrival
For many years, the Sunbird was almost identical to it's brother the Cavalier. The latest generation, yes, they were more distinctive from each other. The Pursuit would do respectable business in the US. There are many who are used to having this type of car at the Pontiac dealership in this price range. They won't do a complete new body for this car, so it may as well be this one.
