I'd say probably somewhere around 300, even as much as 350, but probably not much more than that. The 4T65E transmission strapped to most 3.8s, even the s/c'ed ones are fairly beefy.

Normally when it comes to stereo wiring, if you're wiring a head unit into the stock wiring of a certain vehicle, you're going to need an adapter. What you'll do is match the colors of the wires on the back of the radio to the adapter and plug the adapter into the factory radio wiring harness. Typical colors are Yellow for main power, Green for ground, Blue for a power antenna option......the list goes on and on, but that's what you'll have to do.

With the exception of the early Duramaxes pooping injectors, they have been the most steadfast praised diesel I've ever seen.

I'd say its not the rear end's fault there, you've got too small an engine for what you're pulling. The 305 is an all right rig, but its not near as powerful as the 350 and seems to give the trucks a higher rate of component failures.

That's just freaky, talk about a bad day....although that doesn't surprise me to hear about the valve springs breaking, everything has a limit....

BV, that's what I'm looking at. Most of the V-Star Classics (650cc V-twins) are going for about 5200, the lowest one I've found so far is one for 3500 just north of here, but I doubt that it'll be around when I'm ready to purchase within the next 6 months. However, some of the 1100cc bikes are more appealing to me since I'm a bit of a large guy and I would ocassionally tote the wife around on the back of it, adn really a 650 wouldn't get up and go with both of us on there. I don't want a new bike as my first bike, I want something that's used as far as my first one is concerned. Once I get into riding all the time and everything like then, then I'd possibly buy new.

They did initially overrun US installations and push them back down past the 38th Parallel, but once that happened and after the winter of '52, the US and UN forces actually managed to push North Korean and Chinese forces back up towards the North Korean/Chinese border. Actually we should have allowed MacAurthur to do what he wanted to do which is nuke 'em......

Been there, done that.....I'm still bored!

this one is going to come completely out of left field for me, but right now I've gone more or less completely stir-crazy. Its been two days and two nights of having the house to myself and its TOO quiet!!!!!! I'm so used to having my wife and girl around the house that spending the past two nights alone has been hell for me. Can't sleep, can't really sit around the house and relax....can't really do anything. Its too quiet and its too peaceful around here!!!! I want them to come home.... I hate this feeling....its really weird.

Truthfully, I'll probably be getting a 2500 or 3500 Chevy with the Duramax/Allison combo, since my "normal" transportation will be a motorcycle. Amy will be getting some form of van or small-mid sized SUV (she can't exactly decide on what she wants), so I'm more than sure that there will still be a plenty of gas guzzling vehicles when we reach new vehicle purchase time again.
