I iknow that I originally got here sometime in '04, then we had the big crash and i had to rejoin, but I remember before the big crash, so I'm going to guess 4-maybe even 5 years now.
  3. Hell the recall will cover the car even if the warranty isn't there. But yeah, that's probably what it is, so take it in and call it a day from there.
  4. 350, THM-350 in the truck, 3.8, 4T65E in the Impala, 2.2DOHC, not sure what trans in the Cobalt, and the Alero, 4.3, 4L60E in the crew cab S10, 4.3 700R4 in the '89 S10 Blazer, 5.3 and probably a 4L60E or 4L80E in the '05 Silverado, and finally 350 and THM-400 in the '83 3/4-ton truck.

  6. Yeah, but what do you define as a real bed? To me either either a fleetside 4'wide x 8' long bed, and I have to say that the Avalanche has what is close to a real bed, at least considering today's truck standards.
  7. "Crazy Train" Ozzy Osbourne *headbangs*
  8. Yeah, a good thing about a 22 is you can shoot one all day long and never get tired, or sore from shooting it.
  9. Robin Williams "Childbirth"
  10. And that wasn't tied up in scandal every other day.
  11. yeah, I've seen that before too. That's why when I got the Impala, sure I paid a little more than what I should have for it, but I made sure that it wouldn't kill me payment-wise, or ruin the credit rating.
  12. I'll have to do my best to tune in for that one too.
  13. I've got a few myself that I could share. I'd have to say that morphine is one of the best pain killers in the world. Heck, it even does a fair job as a muscle relaxer.
  14. "Old Time Rock & Roll" Bob Seger
  15. Hmmm, guns... Hey speaking of guns, I get to have fun on the second of Feb.
  16. Hey guys, I was always kinda curious to know exactly where the engines and tranmissions in my rides are from. I mean I know that the Impala was put together by the nice people up in Oshawa, and my truck was built in Atlanta, but what kind of information would I need to know where the transmission and engine were produced. I'm fairly certain that they weren't built on site, but I guess I could be wrong. If anyone happens to know, then I'd love to see an answer.

  18. Chuck Berry "Johnny B. Goode"
  19. yeah, I think there were/are too many cross-over type accidents on the Interstates here in Bama which is why you either have a WIDE, tree covered median, or you've got the 6-ft tall concrete barrier separating the lanes.
  20. Morphine is my friend, and yes, you can certainly have some weird dreams on it!
  21. Or Freebird, or Gimme Three Steps, or Ballad of Curtis Lowe, or Sweet Home Alabama, or Tuesday's Gone, or Whats Your Name, or Red White and Blue.....so many great songs. Ahh, right now a patriotic classic: Lee Greenwood "God Bless the USA"
  22. I'm sorry I did too, even more sorry that I couldn't get the lady out.
  23. BV, I'd have to say that its a good song.....but its definitely not something I want to listen to regularly.
