Do you post here as a GM owner?
GM enthusiast and owner...I have owned a 1990 Lumina and currently own a 1994 Lumina. Both of them have lasted a long time and been very dependable vehicles. I love GM's rich history and hope to someday own a classic GM or Ford, along with a new GM or Ford (preferably, the classic would be an Oldsmobile that I would keep absolutely spotless). I have both GM and Ford in my blood.

Happy birthday Knightfan! Hopefully you had a good one!

Cadillac Fleetwood V16
I actually kinda like it. Proportionally, it's a little messed up (especially the rear), but otherwise it kicks a**. I'd like to see the grille a little wider though.

Cell phone ban urged for teen drivers
I'm all for people younger than 18 not being allowed to talk on the cell phone while driving. I can't count the number of times I've been cut off or nearly sideswiped by some dip**** kid thtat is paying more attention to trying to punch in a number on the phone rather than watching where he is driving. And it's not just kids, there's tons of middle aged moms and dads in minivans and SUVs that have no clue what is going on around them on the phone. If it's an emergency, that's a different story...but there needs to be a limit put on teens at least.

2006 Fisker Latigo CS
Man, I love these Fiskers. The way the C-pillar flows into the trunkline is killer. I love the long, low shape and long hood. I also like the small horizontal taillights...beats the hell out of most taillight designs today. Now I just need to scrape together a few hundred thousand dollars for one of these bad boys.

Bought a couple new Johnny Lightnings today
I saw that exact same Grand Am and am thinking about getting it! It looks great in silver. As for the packaging, I was worried about taking it out of the package too. But I saw them sitting in there trapped behind all those plastic polymers, the Camaro with its four big eyes looking all sad at me...and I couldn't take it anymore, I had to give in. But I still have the packaging... http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons//AH-HA_wink.gif

What GM name is most likely to be dropped
Actually, if I remember correctly...isn't it High Heritage Roof? It sounds much better than Heritage High Roof, and I think I've seen it referred to as that before.

Drove behind a Katrina victim yesterday
Yesterday when I was on my way to Hy-Vee to get groceries, I noticed a car in front of me that had Louisiana plates. At first I assumed that the girl in this car had been going here for a while. Then I remembered an article in the newspaper the other day about a girl from New Orleans who transferred here after everything down there was destroyed. In the newspaper they talked about how she stuffed as much as she could into her Toyota Echo in half an hour and left. The only reason that stuck in my head is because an Echo is tiny and you wouldn't be able to fit much in there. Anyway, the car in front of me was none other than a green Toyota Echo. I got into the right lane to pass so I could get a better look at who was in there...and it was the girl from the article. She ended up turning into Long John Silver's and I kept going on my way. It was odd to actually see her in person after reading the story the day before.

Car Spotting
Today I saw a 1975 Malibu Classic in the same color and condition as the one in the pic below. I also saw a 1987 Grand National in excellent shape.

Personal Ads
My name is Nick. I'm a 175 lb, 6'4" male with dark brown hair and blue eyes. I enjoy cars, music, playing guitar, architecture and city planning, traveling, golfing, and creating artwork. My favorite foods include most things Italian, Mexican, and American. Nothing odd like Ethiopian or Pakistani, thank you. I'm looking for a 5'2-6'0 female (non-smoker) with brunette or blonde hair, great personality, sense of humor, ambition, intellegence, and a semi-independent attitude.

Fisker Tramonto
Here's something you don't see everyday; a new car company called Fisker Coachbuild based out of Newport Beach, California will build the Tramonto, a $250,000 supercar. The company is owned by Henrik Fisker, former Aston Martin design chief, and the 710-hp car will be limited to about 150 units. This thing is increadibly cool looking. Pics

Test how fast your brain reacts to this picture
Bottom of the picture picture, about 1/3 of the way from the left...guy with a bald head.

I'm a third year, but there's no Kristi in my class. Maybe the grade above me?

Test how fast your brain reacts to this picture
Find the man among the beans (EDIT: look for a head). Can you find the man within 3 seconds? According to medical experiments: If you can find the Man's Head within 3 seconds, your right brain is more developed than normal people. If you can find the Man's Head within 1 minute, your right brain is developed normally. If you can find the Man's Head within 1-3 mintues, your right brain is slow in reacting, you should eat more meat protein. If you can find the Man's Head in 3 minutes or more, your right brain is a disaster... extremely slow in reacting, the brain is losing it's ability to perform normally. ________________________________________________________ It took me about 3 seconds to find it. I did kind of a z-shaped motion with my eyes to find it.

Hilarious junk mail in my inbox today
Today some junk mail slipped past the Hotmail filter that had the title "Want to meet SEXY Christians?". Here's what it said: It sounds like some normal hocus pocus dating service except for one thing...SexyChristiansMeet.com. Seriously, what the hell? Even funnier, it came on Sunday at 9 AM.

How we thought on cars as kids
My grandpa had a black '84 Buick LeSabre, and I remember I used to think my grandpa drove a limo because it was SO big. It was essentially this except with whitewalls and wire rims.

Friends & Lovers...
I agree, there's a guy in my studio who is gay, but you would never know it unless he told you. He's an extremely cool person that doesn't act in a stereotypical manner at all...he is just himself. I think flaunting any sexuality, hetero or homo, is just for getting attention and nothing more.

Auto Museums
The RE Olds museum is very cool. There's a lot to see there, from earliest gas engines to even non-Olds products like the EV-1.

Texas vs. OSU
I caught the end of it...the Buckeyes failed the Big 10. That one catch toward the end by Young was amazing.

VICTORY!
I know, we'll likely suck it up the rest of the year...but all that matters is we beat those f'ing Hawkeyes. They all went home with their tails between their legs after talking this game up so much. I can't wait until I go home for Christmas break...there's a co-worker there that is a huge Hawkeye fan, and I'm gonna rub this loss in his face so bad...he's done it to me for the last two years, and now it's payback! :)

VICTORY!
Iowa State - Iowa 23-3 :metal: If we lose every other game this year, it doesn't matter...WE BEAT IOWA!

Pictures!
I had to get with the times. It was 1997 and I was still livin' like it was 1987. I gave up the party hardy life of a rock star and decided to go back to school and become an architect. Where else do you think Tommy Lee got the idea for his reality show? http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons/default/AH-HA_wink.gif

Cars you may never see again
That one Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon or whatever it was called where it was like a hatchback. Anyone remember it? I think it was from the early 80s.
