GM needs to expand the brands, even if it means rebranding. Buick could sell more vehicles if it had more models to sell. Buyers don't know the GM brands, they just know the brands. Many people don't know Saab, Buick and Cadillac are related. If a person leaves Buick, they have no GM loyalty, they will go to Lexus. Speaking of which, someone I know who just bought a Lexus, didn't know it was Japanese, and a rebadged Toyota. Rebadging makes GM money. It's cheaper and you can sell the same product under several different brands. Limiting the offerings is not the answer.

I would buy a 4 seat Buick convertible in a second. After a Saab (piece of crap) convertible, Mercedes convertible (crash) and BMW convertibles, I want to buy American, and Buick is the American car in that league. Chrysler Sebring is too rental, and Caddy's is too small and too expensive.

I'd like to see a Lucerne convertible. I also think Buick should get a version of the G-6 convertible. If GM can rebadge the Solstice, and rebadge several minivans, why not the g-6?

I took my parents 1983 Buick LeSabre to my senior prom. It had blue velour seats and a padded vinyl roof. It was quiet as hell, and powerful. When I was younger my parents had LeSabre convertible and an Estate wagon. They still drive Buicks to this day. A Park Avenue and a Riviera.

According to the GM website, the Hamtramck plant produced 12 Lesabres in September. Is the production run over for this car? Why no mention of it by Buick? LeSabre has been around longer than the Mustang!

I noticed they are missing from the new www.buick.com They used to be on the old website. What does this mean? Also the heritage section is gone.

I like the new color (slatestone) on the Lacrosse...which they offered it on the Lucerne.

I don't get the neglect of Buick by GM. It makes no sense. If Saab can get a rebadged Rainier, then why can't Buick get a rebadged Saab convertible..like, now. Buick is selling a lot more cars than Saab...Saturn and Cadillac for that matter, yet GM treats Buick like a problem. Buick needs more cars. Has Buick ever had a car..not a truck, that was a bad seller? Not really. I bet you if you threw a Buick front and tailights on the Saab convertible...it would be the hottest selling ragtop in the U-S.

Buick certainly needs more than three models. Buick outsells Cadillac, Saab, and Saturn. In fact, put together total Saab and Saturn sales and Buick beats that! Buick needs more cars. If GM wants Buick to be the American Lexus...take a look at lexus.com, they have several models, including a convertible.

Money Magazine survey puts Lacrosse at tops in "premium mid-size category," tied with the Nissan Altima.

The Passat is in a different league, for sure. The Passat, with its poor reliabilty ratings is in the shop twice as often!

I'm not sure I like the name Centieme. Whatever it is called, I would like to see them have an "Estate Wagon" option with the faux wood. I still say those Roadmasters from the 90's and they are a sharp car!

I don't think it is fair that GM won't give Buick a convertible. Pontiac will have 2. Cadillac has 1. Saturn is getting 1. Saab has 1. I fell in love with the Bengal concept about 6 years ago and waited to be able to buy one. Then the Velite. Buick needs a convertible, soon.

As for colors, I wish they offered a medium blue, sort of like that Mustang blue. Also, a brighter red would be nice, along with some different interior colors.

I've driven both the Accord and the Lacrosse and the Buick blows away Honda. The Buick feels much more luxurious, and has some personality. The Accord looks like the Camry, yada, yada, yada. The two are not in the same league. Honda competes with Chevy, and Saturn and Pontiac. Honda's Acura brand competes with Buick.
