Crazy question: Do you listen to your engine with the window down?
Yes. I do not get many opportunities, but when I do I take full advantage of it. I love the sound of my engine. BMW B44M62tu (dohc 4.4l v8). It may not seem like anything special, but man that engine can sound amazing at times. I haven't done anything to the exhaust besides remove the silencer, and it also has a cold air intake which supposedly will change the sound a bit. At meets I always get compliments on it. While the meets I went to were typically VW/Audi (making me one of the only V8's there) I remember a B7 RS4 owner and I did a side-by-side comparo and everyone, including the owner agreed my car sounded pretty amazing, even with no load on the engine. With load it almost sounds muscle-ish with a deep burble down low.

GM Design: Oldsmobile in the 1980s
I wonder if the 4th gen Camaro drew styling cues from some of those Achieva renderings...

Speed Kills: The 20 Best Movie Car Chases
Worst list ever. Vanishing point 15? Ronin 9? Hell, even Bullitt being at 2 is questionable.

Cool LED lighting features (youtube vid)
Sorry, I should have clarified. (As I know of your lust with the 4th gen Firebirds and wouldn't have meant to offend... ) I really like them. I didn't intend to refer to them as "obverblown tackiness" rather than their design was so striking, trying to add to it is ridiculous and futile.

. As if the design of the 4th gen Firebird wasn't overblown enough...

The new HSV E2 and the HSV production facility are on display at the HSV/HRT Family Day...
As much as I love HSV and want to love the E2, I just can't. They ruined it.

Cursive may Disappear
That is strange to think about how cursive is slowly being phased out. I learned cursive quite extensively it seemed for a good portion of my elementary school (even partially middle school I think) life. I haven't written in cursive in ages. I could probably pick it up again if I truly wanted (I'm an all caps writer currently) but right now it is reserved as the loose base for my signature which has pretty much evolved into a scribble.

And on that we agree.

Funny story....
I like Minis to, but it is a relatively slow car, though an integra is slower I would imagine.

It is extremely lackluster in design (to put it lightly), but I wouldn't consider the it cheap. Knowing those itneriors, they are pretty well put together. Everything is solid and of relatively good quality.

Even our X5 was fairly uncomfortable. I couldn't stand that car. I could never find a good seating position in the 76-way "comfort" seats, and because it is supposed to be "sporty" they made the ride rather stiff...perhaps it was the auto-leveling suspension (it did also have the sport package). I mean, I don't mind stiff and sporty, but that thing rode like a bucking board, and with how good those things are supposed to handle, it always felt as if it was too narrow and top-heavy...It would dig in when you pushed it, but it didn't feel right otherwise. The transmission also never shifted correctly, even after having it reprogrammed a few times. Specifically from a dead stop, it would never transition smoothly and kind of give a jolt even when lightly pressing on the accelerator. Oh, and the texture coating on the steering wheel trim pieces was prone to peeling off very easily. I can easily understand why you weren't impressed... Granted, I was used to a Suburban...(A far more practical, comfortable, and superior vehicle, by the way.)

An utter world of shit...
We went over this case in my business law course, briefed it, and a report was done on it by a student, so I'm going to try and recall some information... According to the national coffee association I believe the temperature of the coffee was well within a suitable range to provide for best taste. McDonalds was not negligent in the regard of temperature, rather, they were negligent in the regard of not clearly labeling and notifying the recipient of how hot the contents were. When the coffee spilled on the woman, (who happened to be parked at the time if I remember correctly), it took her around 70-90 seconds (also if I remember correctly) before she changed her position from sitting in the hot coffee. This is where the woman's negligence came into play.

Tire Rotations - need your advice
If the tires are directional then DO NOT cross them side to side. Front to back is fine unless your wheels are staggered. It should say on the tire if it is directional, or have an arrow pointing in the direction of travel. Crossing a directional tire from left to ride will greatly affect the way the tire performs. It is directional because it was made to turn in that direction, and perform doing so. Not knowing the tire I can't say how adversely you will be affected, but wear, wet/dry performance (especially wet I would imagine), ride quality, and steering would be put in jeopardy. edit: I don't mean to sound like I am calling you out on this. I re-read the initial post more clearly and noticed the issue. I'd imagine those stores could have a serious liability on their hands by incorrectly mounting the tires.

New Cadillac Ad
Agreed. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this ad is stupid. That coupe will make a nice addition to the lineup though...Looks good.

PETS/ANIMALS...again
Love dogs...except small ones. I hate small dogs as much as cats...and I'm allergic to cats as well.

I had an LS as a rental car once. I was quite surprised. Pretty nice car...reminded me a lot of my 5.

1996 Retro Interior Compro
I may be biased, but the BMW interior, even with the horrid 4-spoke wheel, is far and away the best interior of the bunch in my opinion.

1996 Retro Interior Compro
The major redesign, the e39, came in 95 as a 96 model. I'm pretty sure that was for Europe though as I have never seen any e39 earlier than 97 here.

Steak or grilled meat
I'm actually kind of surprised they served pork to you like that. That's not safe at all.

Steak or grilled meat
Hamburgers I will take medium...but anything above medium rare for a good steak is offensive.

First Core I7 Notebook
This makes me wonder if I should hold out for a Thinkpad update. I'm looking into getting a laptop soon. My desktop isn't the latest and greatest, but it does exactly what I need and want from it. I have been wanting a notebook for a while, especially for school.

SRX reviews in - C&D, Edmunds
From what I gathered the vehicle fails in terms of power delivery and transmission tuning, but otherwise it drives fairly well with decent steering, ride, braking, and handling.
