2007 Pontiac G6 GXP at nyias
I bet you its not... :AH-HA_wink: well maybe it is. There is a 3.6L GXP that was shown too. I think it would make more sense for that to get the nod.

2007 Pontiac G6 GXP at nyias
I seriously doubt it a 3 valve 3900. I think that idea died on the operating table. I was sure I heard it was going to be the 3.6L HF V6

New Diesels for GM trucks!
way more then competitve.. Aren't Mercedes diesels around 250 ish hp and 370 ilbs of torque? GM would never rate a production 4.5L that high

Solstice review
You had the wrong link but I found the right one but I can't watch it! http://www.drivingtelevision.com/segmentvi...call=&segtitle= I have seen 3 Solstices in Calgary now but all from a distance. Saw it up close at the auto show yesterday. Gorgeous car. A bit chunk in places but I would buy it. Dagmar is soooo hot!

.....
Pretty boring and generic looking, from what I can see. I love my wifes 05 AWD V6 Vue. Distinctive and fast! Lets hope they drop a 250hp+ 3.6L HF in there with the 6 speed auto. The Honda 3.5L/5 speed is a great powertrain but GM can beat that now.

2008 STINGRAY!
The massive exagerated fenders, the doors, basicaly the whole car. Interesting that has been the only Corvette I ever got a ride in. damn :AH-HA_wink: talk about irony! I know all about L-88s and ZL1s but have never associated the word Stingray with them. It has history and some name recognition, I agree. But if it was never anyting special, its just a badge, like LT, then its not that great afterall. My favourite Corvette is the 90-95 ZR1.

Pics of my car...
Looks great!!! Too bad the new BMWS look like $h!

2008 STINGRAY!
Stingray maybe a reconizable name....but what does it mean? Did you get a different engine ect? sigh..... :hissyfit: I'll go see if I can find that out...although truthfully I cannot stand C3 Corvettes--well 1970-1982 anyhow. I wouldn't turn my back on a 69 ZL1! :P

The New Tundra
My thoughts exactly. Full sized trucks are the last refuge from Japan INC. While they have done very well over the past 20-30 years, they don't understand the fullsized truck market. Fullsized truck owners are very loyal too.

2008 STINGRAY!
I don't care for idea of a 2 seat convertible for Chevy at all. They have the Corvette and the upcoming Camaro. Solstice and Sky are plenty. Its not like there is ahuge market for 2 seat convertibles anyhow. As for the "Sting Ray" thats from a Corvette and should not be used on a different car. I don't even like the name Sting Ray---did it ever mean anything?? They should build the Nomad--in a qaud coupe/2+2 configuration. Could sell very well.

GM Unveils All-New 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche, Makes
Very nice looking! I wonder about the 6.0 performance and why its only 355hp? Oh well perhaps they will be unusually strong

What chassis it on? Any dimensions known?

Equinox, the forgotten child?
I see far more Saturn Vues on the road as far as FWD/AWD litle SUVs. While the Equinox would have some advantages over the Vue (cause its newer) I don't care for the extra size (wheel base and length) or the mini van rear end. Plus I love blowing them away in my wifes 05 250hp! Saturn. :P

Some notes on second a 2nd F body from Fbodfather
I love Firebirds but I honestly wouldn't want it back UNLESS: It had significantly different body work. Maybe trunk Camaro and hatch for the Firebird? Even different engines. Different suspesnions. WS6 was far better then the IROC-Z setup--the springs were way too stiff. The point is even 3rd gen F-bodies had different perosnalities. I don't want a 100% mechanical clone. 4th gens were that. So I'd suck it up and get a new Camaro.

2006 NAIAS: Buick Enclave Concept
Acura TL has 258hp. ANd an auto is soo slow off the line. Must be the lack of torque!
-
2006 NAIAS: Infiniti Coupe Concept
I really liiked the old G35---much more then the 350Z. This one looks bad. A real stretched, exaggerated front end.... they wrecked it
-
2006 NAIAS: Lincoln MKX
doesn't doa thing for me. 14 spoke rims look disgusting as do the other ones, which look really old. Enclave owns this thing.

2006 NAIAS: 2007 Nissan Sentra
UGH! Looks like an ION mated with a Pirus and then a Maxima!

2006 Chevrolet Camaro Concept
Like it best from the side or rear. Just a bit too chunky looking--needs to slim down a bit, IMO. Plus I can't stand oversized rims. 17-18's are fine by me. I see some 1969 in the interior too--the guages on the shifter console. Otherwise it is a show car interior and will look good for production, Did anyone notice the width? 79.5"!!! Thats alomost as wide as a Hummer H2 Thats got to go down! I think a third gen was 72" (maybe 74") But its growing on me. So trim down the dimensions (a little bigger windows too) a bit and offer a midlevel RS V8 and I'll buy.

2006 NAIAS: Buick Enclave Concept
Now what platform is this on? The engine mounted sideways or RWD style? If RWD that would make a kick-ass base engine for a Camaro
-
2006 NAIAS: Buick Enclave Concept
wow! That looks great, very classy. I forgive Buick for that UGLY, GUTLESS, Rendevous. I can see this being a serious conteder and staling some Lexus sales. Very nice powertrain! Wonder what they did to get the 270hp.

2006 NAIAS: Saturn VUE Green Line
But the automatic is included. Where its an option on the 2.2L. Looks promising. And then Maybe they'll drop the 2.2L next year and have a normal and hybrid 2.4L. The 2.2L is way too small for a Vue.

2006 LAIAS: 2007 Chevrolet Suburban
I am bit unimpressed by the powertrains. Why only 4 speed autos? Why is the 6.0 such a low output? The 6.0 LS2 kicks it. Okay detuen a little for a big heavy SUV--But that much?? VVT? Yeah my 2.4L SS Cobalt has it but from a performance (or a hp number) standpoint I doubt it does much. Emissions and a broad torque curve is likely all it does. 370+hp and 380lbs f would have been better numbers. Looking at the Yukons 6.2L---funny how they get 415 lb.-ft. of torque out of a mere 0.2L Somehting doesn't add up---or they are severely handicapping the 6.0--heck those numbers are so close to the LQ9 6.0. Perhaps a test will prove me wrong but still.....I am underwelmed.

Sky Prices and standard features!
Yeah I was disapointed with the looks of the new MX-5 too. Looks dated already. The Sky should help out Saturn and its image should benefit.
