    They usually are.

Regular market forces will make the decisions much easier. Gas will most likely crest $4 a gallon this summer and its only a matter of a few years before it hits $5. Even if people started driving less in the U.S. the excess supply would most likely be gobbled up in other areas of the world. So in a nutshell, people are either going to be financial forced into smaller/more fuel efficient cars...or they are going to be rich.
  3. 1. Inconclusive...not a really relevant measure of an economies strength because not only does it only measure those "actively seeking employment", it doesn't take into consideration underemployment, which is even more disturbing. 2. Stock market is a poor indicator of economic health. Just because companies are doing good...does not mean they are doing good in the domestic market. 3. The last interest rate drop was the equivalent of putting a bandaid on a gun wound...it will do basically nothing. Even if they kept dropping the rate it would only delay the inevitable market correction.
  4. All signs point to the U.S. being headed into a recession.

Basically. They all follow the same basic formula...but each has a different package. Most are dull...but reliable.
  6. You're not the only one. It's the power of marketing with the "H" on the hood.
  7. What a waste of time and taxpayer money.

Toyota actually has 9 SUV's for 3 divisions...probably half of them are just pointless overlaps.
  9. Nothing like an appeal to the average stupid american consumer.

    Talk about some faulty logic
  11. The debt problem is only going to get worse before it gets better. The debt problems now are just the tip of the iceberg.

I've seen 2 of these on the street already...I wasn't aware they were on sale yet!
  13. It's truly an eyesore...actually all the recent coupes (G6, Solara) are eyesores. It seems like the collective forgot how to design a coupe
  14. Last time I checked global warming wasn't a myth..it was a fact. The only thing in question is if human activity is cause of the increase or if it is a natural weather cycle.

Well I would hope so...the TSX costs 10K more.

Thank you for reminding me why I'm smart enough to not read CR.
  17. That pretty much sums up my thoughts about mine. I've had mine for 2.5 years and 41K miles and would buy another one today if my lease was up.
  18. I wonder what significant problem this one will have right after it launches.
  19. The interior with the NAV looks good...the interior without looks gawdawful.
  20. Well someone has to pick up the slack from domestics cutting back on fleet sales.
  21. Might want to check your prices...Civic Hybrid with NAV starts at 25k...XM is another 300 bucks. The civic is a decent car....but its overpriced...it also doesn't help that it's closest competitor (Mazda3) is a better car pretty much all around. The low end models are also incredibly overpriced for what you get.
  22. Still looks crappy. Actually I don't think any current coupe looks good...they all look like jellybeans to me.

Looks like the current accord front with a squared off version of the current toyota solara back. Definitely no beauty queen.

They will sell every one they make...for a premium. Personally if I was dishing out 100K+ for a car I'd one something with a little more "attitude" than a glorified Toyota.
  25. So they are going to get economic incentives for no more workers? How does that one work?
