2006 Honda Civic
What is the price vs the Cobalt? The coupe is not bad, but the interior is a turn off for me.

Saw 2 HHRs while eating at Burger King
I read something like that in another forum. Chevy can't keep them in stock. It won't be long until it outsells the PT Cruiser. Lutz said that the first three vehicles he's been totally in charge of are the HHR, Solstice and the H3. Looks like three hits...too bad he was not there for the G6.

US Should Get Pursuit
If only the Pursuit had its own identity, a different skin, I'd say yes.

And the Impalas...
I saw one yesterday and I can say it's a nice car. With fuel price, this car is gonna sell very well.

Chrysler Group Reports 17th Consecutive Month...
It was a real bad idea. The Charger is not selling over here. GM is not in a so bad position after all. FWD remains the mainstream. Lutz said he would not have allowed such designs to go into production.

GM Reports 355,180 Deliveries in August
I think it's good, the new cars seem to attract buyers, HHR, Impala, G6... YTD numbers are up. Many plants will work overtime this week. Not bad at all.

GM scales back outlook for big SUVs
Yep, this is the end of full-sized SUVs, I see a lot of demand for the HHR though :)

Autoweek reviews the Solstice
While the Solstice is almost identical to the concept, it's sad that GM didn't do the same thing with the G6, the concept was so nice.

Can you say a bit more? Did they look good? And the interior?

Future Products: GM
I'm afraid that GM might run out of money before all those projects become reality.

Strange that he bashed the tranny, after it's an Aisin (Toyota) :alcoholic:

And the Impalas...
I was surprised to hear my brother saying that he saw the new Impala SS and he was impressed. And he is not a GM fan...

At least, if only there was a 6 speed auto tranny in the Lacrosse and the 3.6L standard.

new Q&A with LaNeve
GM has been too slow to turnaround. The new cars are just "good enough". There are still bean counters at GM's. No six speed auto tranny, no hybrid, so-so interior, high prices. It smells bad, real bad...

GM Interns Return
My suggestion to GM regarding the GM card. First, I'd like to say that MSRP are too high. To me, purchasing a GM car makes sense cause I have the maximum points to put down ( 1500$ on a Cobalt or Malibu) I'm not sure if I had no point, that I would buy a GM for my next car. It's simply not competitive compare other cars on the market. I wonder if you should not drop the card and lower all the MSRP by 1000$. It would be more appealing to non-GM card owner. This spring, my brother bought a Matrix cause for the same equipment, it was 1500$ less than a Vibe. At equal price, he would have gone with the Vibe and he's not interested to get the GM card, it could have been his first GM car.

New comparison up at Edmunds
I was 100% sure that the Cobalt would be close to the bottom. I do not agree that more sporty it is, better it is, at least not for me. The Cobalt has a firm ride and is comfortable, that's what I expect from a base car. My only complaint would be the interior hard plastic. This is how they evaluate the cars: Sport suspension= very good Touring suspension+GM= not good. I don't know why we keep posting comparo from Edmunds, they never gonna love GM.

And the Impalas...
The rear is perfect, the front end could used some work though. The interior is a good average, not world-class. It's gonna sell well for the price.

HHR Pics I took last time
Do you know guys if it's selling well? My dealer had two, now they're gone. Seems hard to find one. It's a real looker.

GM Interns Return
Why is there so much hard plastic in the new interiors? It feels cheap compare to the competition.
