Feb. 2006 Sales: General Motors
Yeah, but numbers don't lie, in Canada and probably in the US, Toyota is now close to number one in retail sales.

Zero Pe%cent Financing
I agree. If you compare the quality of plastics, GM is still the worst. I know, I own one. The guys in Detroit do not understand that today, you have to aim for the top. After replacing my crappy Cavalier, I decided to give GM another chance. I leased a base Cobalt with all the rebates I could get, cause I knew that the car is not up to the competition. But I think many people will not give that chance anymore and I understand them. I have been a big GM fan, but for my next car, I will probably look elsewhere. I'm just tired to see all the cost cutting and the cheap interiors.

Ok but why Japanese brakes last longer?? That is what I don't understand with GM.

Feb. 2006 Sales: General Motors
I had bad news this weekend. Two sales rep from different GM dealers told me that sales are really bad where I live. Customers are not interested anymore with American products. There is no longer trust. The new products are not competitive enough. Even Koreans offer better products than GM-Ford-DCX.

Lots of depressing news
Well, I think I'm not surprised. Where I live GM-Ford-DCX are bleeding. Sales are so down that I think many will close down. Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan and the Korean dealerships are getting bigger. There is a Toyota in every driveway right now. The end is near. Sad but true.

2008 Malibu
When will we see the new Malibu? It is next year at Detroit or it's been delayed? It will be a tough year for Chevy on the car side.

Detroit News: 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP Coupe Review
GM is awful with their interior. I think Lutz said that they would have world class interiors. :rotflmao: Now I hope the Aura is better.

Ford swipes at GM's troubles
Japan will help to finance your debt and give you good job in their company based in your country.

Feb. 2006 Sales: Chrysler Group
If GM decided to sell 3000 less Impala to Fleet, does it give more sales to the 300/Charger. Cause nothing said that retail sales were up at DCX.

Ford swipes at GM's troubles
It means that every tax payer in the US would pay for it.

Zero Pe%cent Financing
I'm not saying that it's not a good car but interior could have been better. It creaks since the beginning of the winter, specially the fake aluminium, maybe this spring noise will go away. Concerning the breaks, GM seems to put cheap rotors that last only 30-40 miles. Japanese put brakes that last a lot longer. It's my third GM, and brakes have always been short lived.

Ford swipes at GM's troubles
I came to the point that it's inevitable. I almost wish it. GM and Ford will never be profitable with the UAW. Start all over again.

Here we go again with the rebadging.

Zero Pe%cent Financing
Why don't you buy a Japanese? Just kidding. The problem with the Cobalt is, for the money, the car should have better brakes and better interior material, mine creaks and rattles already after 5K miles. You would not need 0% financing if GM had a great product to offer.

Market Share & Sales (everything you want to know)
Have you heard about the 1000$ drop in price for the Cobalt/Pursuit? I think those cars were overpriced.

Feb. 2006 Sales: General Motors
The Colorado is a flop. The dated Ranger outsold it. No V-6 choice was a huge mistake.

Feb. 2006 Sales: Nissan North America
I'm sure incentives were up.
