More Excuses, Same Results
To GM: Build cars people want to buy.
-
Employee Discount
Despite the lost of market share, GM still don't get it.Build great products = easy to sell = no need for rebates = good profits Why crappy interior an V6 pushrod engines in 2006?
-
Employee Discount
No GM, don't do it. Maybe on the old Silverado and Colorado.

GM builds best small cars in world ...
UAW won't let em in probably. What a shame. Those cars are so much better than the Aveo. Same league than the Yaris/Fit.
-
....
After one day, it already looks better. It's really a classic Chevy look, I don't know how to describe it, but it might sell well.
-
....
The shape of the cabin is not changed from the current version. It looks dated already. I wonder if GM is really serious about redesign.
-
....
I expected a better look. Maybe it will grow on me.

The 10 largest auto company in the world
GM says it sold 9,170,000 cars and trucks in 2005. It's on media.gm. So what is the real number?

TCC: New Acadia Spy Pics!
I'm a bit disappointed by the Lambdas, too bland and this one looks like an Envoy, I prefer the Ford Edge. I expected something more futuristic.

Chevy Lambda info
Based on frame???
-
....
Does this car have round tail light? Cause I think Chevy should bring them back for its sedans.

....
Can this be Epsilon II? Looks good, I see a bit of CTS in the design. I hope it has the 3.6L 6-speed as powertrain.

May 2006 Sales: Toyota Motor Corp.
When there will be a Toyota in every driveway, I wonder what will happen next. Can people get tired of seeing Toyota? It can only go down from that point on (ok, maybe in 25 years)
-
May 2006 Sales: American Honda Motor Co.
There are rebates on every Honda model except Civic and Fit right now, 1500$ off. The Accord won't keep the pace against the new Camry.
-
May 2006 Sales: General Motors Corp.
And I don't think the Lambdas will sell so well either, People are moving to small fuel efficient cars, they just don't want to buy gas anymore, and I understand that. It's the future and GM is not prepared for that. Even a new Camaro would not stop the slide. All the money thrown into Hummer should have been spent for developing new fuel saving technology five years ago, so GM could face the Toyota Hybrid system. We can only blame GM, not consumers. Sad, but Toyota is the real winner (right now, at least) Short term solution would be to offer the Vue's hybrid system into more cars next year. But will GM do it?

May 2006 Sales: General Motors Corp.
You're right. It's 212 000 for DCX group.
-
May 2006 Sales: General Motors Corp.
New ones sell at sticker, last years was 10K off stickerSome numbers for the month GM 345 000 Ford 278 000 Toyota 235 000 DCX 212 000 Honda 142 000 At this rate Toyota could pass Ford next year and even GM soon after. No joke. unless people get tired of seeing Toyota everywhere.

May 2006 Sales: Hyundai Motor America
Sonata=that's where goes the fleet sales.
-
May 2006 Sales: Ford Motor Company
Good for Ford, but I'd like to know if there's not an increase of fleet sales and rentals.
-
May 2006 Sales: Chrysler Group
Not so good for a hot company. Incentives were probably sky high too.
-
May 2006 Sales: General Motors Corp.
Yeah but I think fleet sales are different than rental agencies sales. I can't wait to see what the Aura and G6 3.6L can do to boost car sales this summer.
-
May 2006 Sales: General Motors Corp.
But no retail sales number? suspicious. Rental down 28% but if retail sales are down 10%... Good month for the Impala.

Calling all Cobalts
GM bought the least expensive units.

Chevrolet Equinox SS
