GM Powertrain Unveils 3.6-Liter VVT Engine With DI
I think you've misunderstood, the 3.6 DI is a new variant of the 3.6 L DOHC V6 currently used in cars and trucks worldwide.

GM Powertrain Unveils 3.6-Liter VVT Engine With DI
No, probably not, after all they won't be selling many Solstice GXPs, Sky Redlines and Opel GT's, the CTS isn't very high volume and the 3.6 DI is only a fraction of that, and the bulk will still be coming from the 2.2 Direct in the Signum and Vectra. Since DI diesels make up nearly half of European volume I don't think they're being counted in this total.

New Corsa Uncovered
Can I suggest that everyone in favor say so on GM's blogs—the new Saturn ad article on FYI might be a good place to start. http://fyi.gmblogs.com/2006/05/new_ads_bri...products_1.html

Mexico Threatens Suits Over Guard Patrols
Illegal migration is a worldwide problem. You can do so much to dissuade people from coming, but people go where they see opportunity and a future. Open labor markets will solve many problems, such as coyotes and exploitation and eliminate most incentives to hire migrant workers, but it won't stop people coming even if there isn't work to be found, nor will it solve the social problems that large migrant populations create, as you saw in the Paris riots.

The next Impala. A bigger impact than Camaro
It's not a regular manual transmission, but a manual version of the new 6-speed auto.

Drugs We All Did Them Right???
Apparently rather then "You all did them", almost nobody has or does. How do we avoid them? Never had to. Even with alcohol although I keep a range of spirits, I almost never get round to drinking them. It's always easier to grab a soda or make coffee. I'm not even sure where I've put the whisky.

Rebadged Opel Astra will come to U.S at end of '07
Yes I can imagine if you drove an S-series with the old Opel 3.0 L V6 it would have been pretty unrefined, but at least it would have been very quick off the mark. I suspect though you are thing of the L-Series.

New Saturn Logo A Possibility
The BMW roundel in red was the logo of the Eisenach Motor Works, producing pre-war BMWs in East Germany in the former BMW factory in Eisenach (originally the Dixi factory, producing Austin 7s under licence when it was bought by BMW—the first 3-Series from the fiscal hp). GM razed the factory and built a state-of-the-art plant producing Corsas on the site.

Or they could be talking about an aftermarket tuner, since there are accompanying photos as well, undisguised and in the open.

Demographic Groups Rank Most Buzz-Worthy Vehicles
These are not "top picks" in the sense that they are the first choice as a purchase, merely what people are talking about, just as Letterman, Leno and co. are always talking about Bush.

Enclave interior
Driver and passenger side grab handles have different functions. The driver side is only to close the door, while the passenger side also serves as something to hold on to during off-roading or fast cornering etc. The driver of course needs to keep his hands on the wheel.

They did blow up a Lamborghini—that would have been expensive.
