GM crossovers wow dealers
I seriously can't wait to see them. I just hope they get good fuel economy. That is where they can make huge inroads!

Favorite SUVs, post 1990.
I would have to say that the Current Envoy is, I have always loved the overall look of the front end. Interior is my favorite of all the 360s.

Finally! Somebody Target's Toyota!
A good read, but I have to say that Toyota may be making trucks with poor milage but people want them. The Highlander is a joke, 1.5 mpg better than the Regular Highlander.. Bah!

Jeep Commander
I am starting to get annoyed with the interior issue, I like the Interior in this one. It's a jeep, c'mon!

New spy photos of '07 Sierra
It's going to piss off some people who have truck campers. Some older campers fon't fit into the new ford truck bed. I guess the same for GM. But it is a small price to pay for a more useful bed. I love tonneau covers and the higher box will make it less of an annoyance for carrying things!

Winter preparations
Just don't get over confident. Awd/4wd gives you so much more forward grip in slippery weather, yet it is no different in stopping and turning. Just be careful with it. It may sound crazy but I prefer FWD cars over 4wd trucks in bad weather. Even with a snowmobile in the back it still likes to slither out on the rear(with studs). I would like to try an SUV, everyone says they are the ultimate because of the better weight distribution. Now on the winter tire issue. I use them and love them. They are noticeably better on ice and snow. They won't make a bad winter driver a good winter driver but they will make a good winter driver a little better. I've done both and I will pay the extra $600 for a good set of winter tires and steel rims.

Japanese Tarrifs
Its better to make Japanese companies build cars here (at least the jobs are here) than build them over in Japan. Another good part is it would provide for a little extra revenue for the Gov't in the short term, which would be rolled over to American Car maufacturers

Breakthrough Technologies
I don't think that there would be such a problem with speed. Solenoids actuate extremely fast. Reliability is another issue!

US aid in Domestic automakers?
Come on over, have a beer! You ever see Canadian Bacon? Hilarious movie http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons//AH-HA_wink.gif Our taxes are too high, I don't think you'll find a Canadian that would argue any differently. To go along with what you are saying, if I lived in the states I would undoubtably be better off.

What's Your Opinion of This?
BV I don't know if you can do the same with the SE style tail lights, the coloring is through the entire light assembly instead of a coloring inside clear plastic. BTW I do know if I like the G6 that much more than the Grand Am GT.. those are starting to look more stylish as time passes!

Skateboarding
I think that it does look kinda funny, kinda like socks in sandles. That said I would like to think that I will be foolish in my mid 40s on a snowboard, only 20 years to go!

Breakthrough Technologies
Well, in a popular mechanics a few years back they had an article on electronic componets. Brakes are one of them. I am not exactly sure how it would work, I don't picture a motor at first, but maybe a DC solenoid used with a variable voltage to apply the desired pressure to the pads. In the long term they will use regenerative braking and eliminate ABS, the regeneration will just not lock-up until the speed is reduced to a certain level.

Chevrolet Tahoe Refresh
You know, either way it looks like the front end it melting off!

Here's what my weekend will be like...
What do you do in this scenerio? Do you leave or do you batten down and stay? I know what snowstorms with 170km/hr winds are like back east, I can't imagine A hurricane packing 280km/hr+ winds is like. I hope the best for you.

What does a lawnmower have over an '06 3er?
Also there would be garages out there that would weld something to the bolt and take it out, replace it with a standard bolt. On the dipstick issue. I hated the fact that my 99 Grand am had no transmission dipstick. BMW is out of their mind not to have a dipstick, does it cost that much more to be redundant?
