I think I just pissed myself when I saw the rear-over-head shot of the Split-window & the car's coke-bottle footprint. If there's one modern (like past 30 years) concept car that is even close to the 2003 Cadillac Sixteen THIS is it. I think I'm going to take a cold shower now so I can try to snap out of it and then wipe the drool off my keyboard!

It's "cute", so Chicks will buy it = success. 95% of todays cars are too tall & narrow! This is just right. Better yet, POntiac WIDETRACK.

The Vibe's styling, while goofy & awkwardly upright, is completed. It has a sense of direction, a continuity & above all, it's a CLEAN design... nothing looks tacked on or otherwise drawn by a 15 year old kid in High School study hall. The Matrix DOES look terrible, it LACKS continuity look like a kid who got a B- in High School Art class for his paper-mache Hat. That "Spartan-Mask" fascia that Toyota's been trying to emulate is just _FAIL every time.

Wow... that V16 Cadillac is just gorgeous. Thank You. Looks like either a '30 or '31. The Packard, 1928? Buick Rumbeseat Roadster & late 1920s Packard are quite stunning as well. The photo of the '38 Buick makes me regret, for about the 3,000th time in recent months that I did not buy that running/driving '38 Buick Sedan that was for sale a few years back for $2,800. The Lincoln's headlighs are awkward, the grille says late 1930s but the headlights, nice as they are with their reverse teardrop covers, say 1941. Same reason I always find Pierce Arrows, even the really stunning ones, slighty awkward. The headlights belong inboard on pre-war cars. The Jaguar is quite interesting, not my cup of tea but nice. Just make sure Balthazar does not see it, those recesed grilles are not to his liking. That "Jaguar" prob. still wears the pre-war "SS" (Swallow Sidecar) identification.

Loved the first video... Crazy Sweeds. This kind of sillyness would be WAY cooler if it were done with a fleet of CTS-Vs or Camaros. FWD SAAB-9000...? Never will a turbocharged motor make up for the short-comings caused by front wheel drive. Ever.

Well my goal is not to find a gorgeous vacation spot.... as nice as the White Mountains & Lakes Region is they're too far away from my jobs. Hudson, Pelham or Nashua are realistic and practical and still would buy me citizenship in a better state then mASS.

I personally love the Bugatti grille in most, but not all of their designs, the Atlantic esp. I think had near perfect lines. From up close the Type-57 Atlantic is gorgeous. Fantastic detailing & world class craftsmanship. The only real Atlantic I ever saw was Ralph Lauren's, which I would imagine is also over-restored.... just a guess.

The G8 is a rare bird. A modern, never mind NEW car that I lust after.

I think the title is self explanatory. Feel free to post anything pre-1945, Although I've always felt that a true Pre-War car is 1939 or earlier. I mean wouldn't a 1942 Chevy be a Mid-WW2 car? My brain hurtz now. -----

You can't TOP a 452cu.in. (narrow-angle, OHV) V-16 powered Cadillac. If I tried hard enough I might, but it would result in: 1.) a car that never even came CLOSE to production 2.) the universe would explode --- Getting back on topic: The BASIS of the idea of a country where the government would be afraid of its' citizens and not vice versa due to guaranteed access to firearms and free speech was WELL under way by 1776, I think we can ALL agree on that. Just as a Small Block Chevy was released to the masses in production cars in the fall of 1954 as a '55 M.Y. and yet it EXISTED in prototype form and in stockpiled mass production for years & months respectivelly.

Wow... what an awesome way to blow 100 hours on the computer. So does it come in a split-window? As awesome as it is, it's just a '67 Vette on steroids. That's not to say taht's a bad thing.... I love it, yes it's quite European but then again MANY of our best designs in the 1960s borrowed form Europe, and in many cases improved on them. I love the Alfa Romeo 1750gt but I think the 1st gen. Camaro that emulated the super-clean-lines & fuselage body with hooded nose look of European cars like this is even better looking, muscle car heretige aside. The Alfa is classic as is the Camaro but most people on most continents get MORE excited seeing the Camaro, and it still manages to OUT-European the Europeans in CLEAN, simple but perfectly executed lines.

Most intelligent people, nevermind car fanatics, already KNOW that. Porsche was a genius, but he did BORROW many of his greatest ideas from a certain Czech by the name of Ledwinka. He had some radical ideas about rear engined cars, horizontally opposed motors & wild styling as well. (just to name a few) Pre-war Tatras were the KdF's & Porsche 356's close-knit cousin.

Yeah.... I did think to actually be more accurate in either my sig. or perhaps to word it better... never got around to it. Basically, 1776 sounds way more catchy than 1791 or 1789. I'll reword it soon, or perhaps I'll just rewrite the whole thing.
