  1. It looks alright. Better than the Camry's. (Like I'm going to bash a car's interior.)
  2. I get a kick out of that seating arrangement. It can seat one more person than your standard roadster, and that should amount to something. I personally hope this thing is mildly successful. Amphibious vehicles would mean we could potentially travel from America to Europe by car... Of course, I don't know if I could handle sitting in what would basically be a tiny boat for several weeks.
  3. Is the car sealed in plastic, or just covered? The difference between the two will suggest the condition of the car that we will see when the wraps are removed.
  4. The SportCombi design is remarkably European, and very close to the point of repulsion among Americans. Apparently, I prefer the Black striping of the Convertible's tail lamps over the Grey striping of the Sedan's tail lights. Overall, though, I prefer the sedan's lamps.

I'd be worried about the pulse plugs going bad faster than regular spark plugs do, considering the immense size of the "pulse" they make. Other than that, yes, I would like to have the option to tune my car for better fuel efficiency (while potentially getting more power as a side effect).
  6. Oh. That's worse. Why would something like this only be on the 2007 Equinox / Torrent? Did they change the glue from 2006?
  7. The Murano isn't ugly... I just don't like it. Particularly the grille. That said...
  8. "Funny!!! And FIXED!" Oh, crap! Was the Penis fired? Did the management confiscate his suspicious-looking bags!?
  9. I think it's usually done to maintain anonymity.
  10. Cool, heading through Central NY?
  11. Ah, yes, but they also have four doors, a B-Pillar, a rear window split, 5 split-spoke rims, fog lights, and similar proportions. That's about it, though.
  12. Oh, and... "penis" isn't exactly a dirty word. It's the correct term for the part in question.
  13. Pff, like anyone would give him a salary. He'd just spend it all on hookers and porno mags.
  14. The 2003 9-3 was a fantastic launch! Here's hoping for more like it and for Saab's prosperity.
  15. I was aiming for the same general area where the cyclone was photographed. I fixed it, hopefully before anyone notices
  16. I wonder if he's pleading insanity.
  17. GM's 4-speed transmission is famed for being virtually bulletproof. The rest of the stuff, I can't help you with. My dad and sister had a 2000 Impala leased, but did not get to see it with high mileage.
  18. A good start. But what does that have to do with this thread?
  19. I'm reminded of the commercials for the Volvo S80. - You're gonna crash into that truck in front of you if you don't slow down or change lanes! - There's something in your blind spot! - Heartbeat monitor... Somebody is in your car! Etc. Etc.
  20. It might be the best... But that wouldn't imply that it's as good as a fixed-gear transmission.
  21. What, one pic? Feh. Nissan's styling has been hit-or-miss for me. I'm hoping this one will be a hit, unlike its predecessor. (Hey, they fixed the Altima. Maybe they can fix the Murano, too!)
  22. Uh... 85 mph. Sometimes I forget to look at the speedometer. Actually, I dragged with a Corvette at an ASIM. Not sure what speed I hit, though. I've accidentally hit 80 mph in a 55 while test-driving a CTS. Those cars are so smooth that when there are no other cars around, you don't even realize you're going that fast.
  23. Looks aside, I kinda like this concept. Any alternative fuel is welcome if it can get a decent range without costing a premium. I just wonder how the electronic components will be operated. Is the compressed air engine hooked up to an alternator that charges the battery? If they ever made something like this around here, a helluva lot of gas stations would hike the prices to use their air compressors.
  24. Consider this, GM. The main feature that made me consider the Cobalt coupe instead of the sedan was the style. I much prefer the roofline of the coupe over the sedan, but I would have been willing to get the sedan if it had the same tail light cluster design as the coupe. Some people want both form AND function, and the sedan would look great with the baby Corvette tail lights. While on the subject of Corvette tail lights, the 2008 Malibu's rear would look much better if it were inspired by the SS concept, like the rest of the car was. Consider it sales lost before the car even hits showrooms.
