The hidden hybrid PR coup
Screw the hybrids. How about an automaker brings back a true economy car? Something that gets 40mpg city without costing closer to $20,000 than $10,000. Can we get that, please? Or are we going to have to buy a Payola Prius to ever get that kind of mileage again?

Divorce.
I didn't even realize you two were married. If the feeling is mutual, then I guess you have to do what you have to do. Make sure Sofia has equal parts influence from both a male and a female role model. The male role model doesn't have to be you, and the female role model doesn't have to be Marcia. That's all I can say for your situation. That is to say, neither you nor Marcia have to be a constant member of Sofia's life. For either of you to lose connection with her would be a tragedy.

Official Vectra/Aura Pic?
I hope the trunk is reasonably sized. And I really hope the opening is larger than a square foot.

TOYOTA NO LONGER "FOREIGN"
Hmm, I wasn't aware GM had a customer service line that you could call that was not attached to a specific dealership.

OFFER
According to a post found elsewhere: An R-Title is a "Rebuilt" title. It means the vehicle was totaled before.

Mopar SkunkWerks Jeep JK Truck **updated**
Between the paint job and the pick-up bed with spare, I see a lot of old-school Willys Jeep inspiration in this design. It would absolutely get people's attention.

NYC's Taxi Fleet Going Green by 2012
Huzzah, I've increased awareness about hybrid buses by posting a comment at the link. (edit: spelling/grammar. Sucks when I don't get it right the first time)

Happy Birthday to all you Birthday boys today!
Happy birthday, fellas! Earlier this year I celebrated 24 on the 24th! You only get that chance once, dude. But don't worry if you didn't do anything special. There are other once-in-a-lifetime events that you can celebrate (and there's a lot of them).

Chevrolet through the decades...
That would be considered a one-off car, and not regular production, I believe. Regular production is probably a multitude of cars built on something resembling an assembly line.

Odd Corvette Trivia
Answers for fun. Maayble I'll get one right. 1. 1974, to appease OPEC. 2. 1982, as Roger Smith considered a way to get more people to buy the Corvette, without - you know - giving people what they WANT. 3. One in 1955, one in 1967, and one in 2003. 4. It massages your balls as you rev the engine. Wait, I think I know this one... It was a right hand drive model. 5. Horsepower. I'd say split rear window, but I've never seen a C5 with one of those.

GM previews 18 new models to european journalists
BTC, CTC would be the proper acronyms for these vehicles. Otherwise, you have such silliness as C-Series Touring Sedan Coupe, and then the acronyms truly become meaningless.

Gas boycott
Bah! It's no-win. Maybe I'll just join em instead and buy up some Exxon stock. (Nevermind: it looks like they're at their 52-week high at the moment.)

Do you think GM's 1st attempt at an Electric car was the EV-1?
Wow, Opels were really ahead of their time in the 1960s. Hey, waitaminute...

NYC's Taxi Fleet Going Green by 2012
Between the hybrid taxi enforcement and the NYPD's gradual transition to Impalas, New Yorkers will see fewer and fewer Crown Victorias on the road. I also hope Bloomberg is planning to add some of GM's hybrid busses to the bus fleet. I mean, if he's really serious about conserving gas.

Tainted food from China making it into US
I don't care if my electronics are built in China (well I do, but at this point I no longer have a choice in the matter). I do care, very fervently, that we are importing the stuff that we EAT from China. We should not be importing any food from China if they're using deceptive tactics to export it here. Period.

TOYOTA NO LONGER "FOREIGN"
Your post needs more references to Canada. Aside from that, Canada is pretty much an extension of the US, economically speaking... *dons flame suit*
