SEMA '06: 2007 Cadillac SRX Sport
True. Like it or not, you have to admit that this interior would really catch on if put into production. Edited to correct my wonderful typing accuracy. (W instead of Y?)

WHOA, stop right there! That's at 40 miles per hour?

ABS, Airbags = False Sense of Security?
I agree with you to an extent, CSpec, but even after seeing the crash tests I will still drive a Chevy Venture at 70mph in a 55. My driving habits don't change much from car to car, I guess.

Buyer Beware!
My wife owned a Dell Inspiron 1100 a year ago. I wouldn't consider it a high end business machine, but it did what it needed to do. We sold it to a friend because A) We needed the money, and B) We received a leftover desktop PC from another friend.

GM roars past forecasts
GM's still losing money on cars, but at least now they're earning money again.

2005 Cadillac DeVille convertible
Cool. As I've said previously, there just aren't enough 4-door convertibles out there. But is it safe at highway speeds? Considering what the frame would look like without the doors, I would refuse to even take this out of town.

F.F. 2.0
I've been on IE7 for the past month. All I have to say about that is: - It's better than IE6, - I'm too lazy to download Firefox.

MB GL450: Motor Trend 2007 SUV of the Year
The blurb on the Saturn site says "available early 2007" so I figured it'd be released as a 2008 model...

Buick Portholes in USA TODAY
Every brand needs a little something to help set them apart. Buick has the portholes. The ones on the Lucerne look far better than those from the Park Avenue.

MB GL450: Motor Trend 2007 SUV of the Year
Let's consider the GM vehicles that this went up against: Chevrolet Tahoe Chevrolet Suburban GMC Yukon GMC Yukon XL Cadillac Escalade Cadillac Escalade ESV Hm, is that it? The Lambdas are all 2008, correct? Also, I did not include the Avalanche or Escalade EXT as they would foremost be considered pick-up trucks.

Spied: 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe [updated 11/21]
It's only natural that Nissan build a coupe version of the heavily styled Altima. It surprises me that they're one of the last major manufacturers to market with a coupe version of their family car.

How would everyone feel about this?
I have sigs turned off entirely. It's faster for me to read through posts, and I can identify users by their avatar. A first post sig might be pretty cool, but I'd probably stick with what I have now.

Buyer Beware!
Laptops have the tendency to run hot, because it's last year's desktop hardware condensed to an 8th of its size. There isn't nearly as much room to breathe inside the box, and there isn't nearly as much metal dedicated to heat sinking. Laptops should ABSOLUTELY NOT be left on a cloth surface, such as a carpet or a bed, and (defeating the purpose, indeed) your lap. If at all possible, the bottom surface should somehow be raised off the work area. One of my friends would take a cookie pan, cover an ice pack with it, and put the laptop on top of that, all in the name of prolonging the life of the laptop. My recommendation to manufacturers: Stop trying to make the fastest laptop and start working towards making a cooler-running, more durable one. There are advancements coming down the pipeline that will make this easier. For example: hybrid hard drives (a combination of magnetic disk for mass storage and flash memory for solid-state frequent-access storage) are being developed in order to prolong the life of the Hard Disk Drive. My recommendation to consumers: Do your research. If you look hard enough, you will find hardware comparisons that will rate such things as running temperature. You want a laptop that will be cool enough to use wherever you plan to use it. What do I do, personally? Avoid laptops at all costs.

"500 internal server error"
I see an awful lot of this: Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. --- If they refuse to fix the problem, find a new server and demand a refund.

Monte Carlo days numbered?
So Dodge is taking the Charger out and replacing it with the Mini-Charger... And Chevy's taking out the Monte Carlo and replacing it with the Impala. All that pretty much indicates is new head- and tail-light stickers on the Dodge NASCAR blobs, and new taillight stickers on the Chevy NASCAR blobs. The article suggests that "unlike its Dodge counterpart, the Impala SS will only be used by Chevrolet teams for their Car of Tomorrow". I don't follow nor care for NASCAR so I have no idea what that's supposed to mean. Someone enlighten the readers.

Honda Pilot Production to be Fully Moved to AL
It's really a shame the UAW couldn't close any deals with the foreign-owned auto factories. We'd have so much more money coming into our economy. *Puts on flame suit*

Another Import Humper Review
Hmm, that's a bit more encouraging. The 2006 Aveo is the only one on the list with 4 stars or more in every category.

2007 G5 review
It's not really using blue lettering on the stereo unit, is it? Tell me they needed to snap that photo last minute and had to use the Chevy version of the radio because a Pontiac radio wasn't on hand... That's tacky.

Another Import Humper Review
Wow. That rules the Aveo out.
