  1. Only in something larger. Otherwise, 4- of 6-cylinder engines properly tuned can satisfy whatever performance I'm looking for, whether the car is front-, all-, or rear-drive.

Saw the Pontiac version of the Aveo yesterday in Detroit.

In process of learning French. Call me ignorant if you wish, but I will hesitate to learn a non-phonetic language for as long a spossible. If I can't look at it and have an idea of what to do with it, not interested yet.

Me? But seriously, there are too many to list!
  5. At least they weren't ugly- well, the cloud cars weren't
  6. Ugly and ridiculous.
  7. MyerShift replied to Ravenfreak13's topic in Chrysler
The Breeze is a decent, if raucous little car. Chrysler does need Plymouth as a value brand. What about the loyalists? DCX's model dvisional order should be (cheapest to priciest): 1.) smart 2.) Plymouth 3.) Dodge 4.) Chrysler/Jeep 5.) Mercedes-Benz 6.) Maybach Mercedes-Benz has no business peddling cars like the A-, B-, or even C-class. Especially not anymore. Due to the company, that's where Chrysler (and smart) step in.
  8. . What else is there to say? Funny, but not important. This is a Why-The-F is this news sort of thing. I'd rather see something about those Ethiopian villagers that were toasted by a volcano's lava flow. And I'm pretty sure it wasn't Erta Ale, either.
  9. I hope they do it. I think it would rather cool.
  10. MyerShift replied to regfootball's topic in Peugeot
Definitely interesting. Peugeot's new front design language reminds me of the 1998-2003(?) Chrysler Concorde. I like the 207, but, I guess I prefer the larger 407. Chrysler Concorde Peugeot 407 Chrysler styling often seems imitated, at least to me. Massive grille? Yeah, we've those too: Chrysler LHS Audi A6 Know what this means, don't you? The next or next-after-next generation of competitors' vehicles will probably bear more than a passing resemblance to Chrysler's current and coming stable of vehicles.
  11. GM should only sell SAAB (and hopefully back to the Swedes) if it can make a profit over what it cost for the entire purchase. Selling at a loss could be worse than losing $300 million for this particular year. Like DaimlerChrysler selling off the rest of Mitsubishi. They sold it for less than it was purchased for. If Mitsubishi (or Fiat or Isuzu) aren't highly damaged brands, I don't know what would be.

It's like from Sniff Petrol- FIAT- OH GOD, WHAT NOW?
  13. Oooh! I feel that Europe has some awesome cars, and the U.S. either doesn't get them, or they're watered down.
  14. MyerShift replied to zoomtm's topic in The Lounge
Oh, I'm sorry. Just stating my opinion.
  15. MyerShift replied to zoomtm's topic in The Lounge
    I don't understand!

I hate that film! Ranks right up there with Finding Nemo in films that bother, disgust, enrage, and/or nauseate me in some way, shape, or form.
  17. Oh, that supposed Patriot Act they suckered the politicians into supporting? (From Family Guy- (loosely quoted) A girl got a math problem right. Do you know what that means class? She's a witch! Get her!)
  18. MyerShift replied to zoomtm's topic in The Lounge
    LMAO! :rotflmao:

I think I'd rather be stuck with a Hyundai Excel deathtrap than a Toyota.
  20. In general I prefer darker woods, but this applies to all colours for me in general. I generally dislike pale colours. Too many stains show, seems wimpy to me. I like dark, ebony like tones in my automobile interiors.
  21. I drove my Skyhawk the hardest. Tough Love for my favourite baby.
  22. But to keep things proper, I'd choose the Chevrolet Cobalt 2.4L "SS" *cough* Z24.
  23. Ever noticed that people can import dirty smog belchers that drink more fuel as long as the cars are around 25 years old, but we can't import a safe, modern, clean, fuel-sipping car because it supposedly isn't safe enough? Please tell me just where there is justice in this. Goes to show that our nation really doesn't care about conservation.
  24. For my "price range" (unemployed currently) I'd choose the Volkswagen Golf GTI.
  25. I just tend to think of these cars as Delta due to their size (and original plans). I still love the Astra, though!
