  1. Ahh, of course. Ok, I should have entitled this GM's best small car. My apologies.
  2. You're right, I heard that somewhere too. Something like a collaboration with FIAT, right?
  3. Dude, you totally read my mind on that one!
  4. Just wondering what everyone else here thought regarding current Delta-based cars. The one I feel is the best is, of course, the one that isn't available here. I feel that the Opel Astra received all of the attention due to the demanding European market. Just take the first IONs for an example. It was panned by everyone. Car & Driver called it the "most disappointing all-new American car in over a decade" while they described the Cobalt compared to the ION as "from dead last to head of the class". It just doesn't seem right to me that we're forced to take Grade B or even C products compared to GM Europe's current Grade A products. Chevrolet Cobalt Chevrolet HHR Opel Astra Saturn ION

I usually run premium just because I can. I also appreciate the added gaurd against spark knock/detonation.
  6. Which makes me think, why is GM paying certain people to design these automobiles? There's no excuse for a lack of good style other than a complete and utter lack of talent.

Is this what the S3X concept became? I like it. Chevrolet Captiva Chevrolet Equinox They're both Theta-based, aren't they? I guess I like the Equinox better, despite being slapped in the face with a chrome 2X4. The Captiva looks too Acura-ish to me.

Crazy. I would have wanted (if funding were available) to put the new 2.0L Ecotec Turbocharged I-4 from the new SAAB 9-3 into a/my Skyhawk .

Would like it, but don't need it. Haven't gotten lost yet! I would probably order it just as a bragging thing of how many gizmos my car has.

I think that the Buick Rainier (other than the SAAB 9-7X) is the best GMT360. And I feel that the Maxx is nifty! It's too bad it'll be discontinued.
  11. Yeah! The top of the dash was soft and pliable, but it was warping up and away from the bottom portion of the instrument panel. My car had the hidden headlamps too, so cool! However, everything else was basic. A speedometer, fuel gauge, no power steering, no power windows or locks, no a/c. The only ting it had on it was speed control. You know what else? The 4-speed manual felt great to me. Well defined gates, never missed a shift. Modern sticks that I've driven (in similar small four-cylinder cars) have all felt rubbery and imprecise. This applies to a Honda Civic LX (2001), a Chevrolet Cobalt (2005), and a Dodge Neon SXT (2002). I want my Skyhawk back!!

    That poor thing!
  13. Yes teen drivers (I'm one, I'm 19) do perform miserably at the task of driving, whether it's the guys trying one-up each other, or some cheerleader on a cell phone. However, older drivers pose just as much of a threat, with ridiculous (if slow) manoeuvres and a similar lack of attention. I had one single car accident try to avoid an elderly driver. My poor Monte! How ironic, eh? An teen and an old person in a related accident.

I haven't done it yet, but will if I get a chance, mwhaha! Yes, Toyotas are appliances. We should take their cars out and allow the laws of physics to toy with them. Now that's an "experiment" I believe we can all endorse!
  15. Only after a thorough warm up. Don't want to have a head gasket problem with my 2.0L Breeze. And then only when I have enough money to cover the fuel or possible maintenance issues. I need new front tires really badly!
  16. Hmm, tonight (this morning): 1.) Water 2.) Orange soda 3.) Arby's water 4.) Arby's water (I went back to bug them) 5.) Water

That may be, but isn't it fun to toy with physics (and mother nature)!?

That would rock, wouldn't it? Actually, the platforms between the two (SLK/Crossfire excepted) are not shared currently. Just similar design. Easy access to parts. Mercedes-Benz's gloating of being all knowing and all superior. It should be known that LH was engineered to be front- or rear-drive. And, before the merger, Chrysler was going back to rear-drive for its larger cars. They basically would have been Mk. III LH cars. I honestly feel more good could have come from the purchase being arranged in the opposite manner.

    Exactly.
  20. Ooo, I like it!

I definitely feel the Lucerne is colour sensitive. Black and red and dark blue are truly amazing. I feel the Lucerne needs dark and bold colours to flash its stuff the best.

My name, MyerShift, is what I call the manumatic transmission of the cars I design in my notebooks. It works out great- my last name is Myers, and then shift, so, you know.

I'm sorry. A little sarcasm slipped out there. I wish that Chrysler bought Daimler-Benz instead of the other way around!

You know what I've always wanted to do? 1.) Take someone underneath a hornet's nest. 2.) Tell them to wait there for a second. 3.) Hurl a rock at the nest. 4.) Run like hell and hope you get away. Voila, instant fun!

Like what? Nothing like fire, though.
