Official Chrysler Aspen Official Pictures
NO!!! Such a hideous, disgusting, and obvious badge job. What happened to Chrysler's great sense of style? I am soo disappointed.

2007 Dodge Caliber
I believe the exterior and interior need to have some sanding down. Too many lumps, humps, and creases. I'm not usually one for angular styling. I preferred the swoopy, sensuously shaped LH cars. It's a shame certain quality aspects (and the buying public) let them down.

Sexual Preference
Why thank you, mon ami. I try to maintain my composure when things start to go strangely. I have decided that I should accept people for who they are rather than what they do. It's part of my new mantra about trying not to judge people when I have my own faults and shortcomings. I like to think of myself on the cool and calm side, even if everyone thinks I am so deep in the closet I'm finding Christmas presents. That's not to say I don't go totally berserk once in a while, but it's not in regard to my stated social encounters. Besides, I had to back up the statements I made here with real life experiences.

Political correctness
Usually not politically correct while in the social environment, but at work, I try to be, although I slip relatively frequently. I hate being politically correct. I like to let people know how I feel about them when I get the chance- you know, like those young white kids trying dress in those overblown bed sheets trying to look all gangster or whatever, I call them wiggers. One time, a group of them heard me.

How old are you?
I was born in the same year that Chrysler's H-bodies were introduced, which was the same year that the E-bodies received a mild facelift so as to better compete with Ford's all-new and radically shaped Taurus. So, guessing games eliminated, I am 19 years old.

Sharks
It's something that crosses my mind everynow and then. So, sometimes.

Sexual Preference
My, my, my! Isn't this interesting! I am heterosexual, but I have the misfortune of sounding like the stereotyped gay boy when speaking. So, this basically translates as everyone around me believes that I am gay until they either get to know me, or run in terror. Sometimes this creates unusual social cricumstances. For future reference, let's oberve the equation below: gays + substance(s) + me = Problems I no longer have qualms about having gay (or lesbian) friends, but it does bother me when they try to get in my pants- literally, and otherwise. Nothing like a free body massage though, lol. One such friend, let's call him "C.H" said that pleasure is all the same, and that I shouldn't care who it's from, but that still won't make me comfortable, regardless of my state of body or mind. I said that even though I hate to disappoint people, sometimes I have to. And still, you know what, I really like to just hang out with him. He asked me if I liked to feel good about myself. He did make a good point though. You know what? I guess I don't. I feel fine and confident in my skin, but I don't like compliments or praise. I asked C.H what seemed so fascinating about me, and well, apparently it was that he thought I looked hot and that I was fun to be around. I will admit that I am not ugly, but I feel that I am average. I am a bit thin though, with the hint of muscles all around. 127 pounds and ~5'10"! The girls I used to work with told me I looked anorexic! Despite being 19, my dear mother insists that it's always "Birds of a feather flock together", and therefore, being around gays makes me gay too. So what do I, Steven Myers do in response to this (and out of boredom)? I get my ear pierced, dammit! I just love doing things like that. And so far, some of my friends seem to like the change it makes to my appearance. I'm planning on getting my other ear pierced too and maybe other things not below my torso, but shh, don't tell my mom :P . I really wish I had a decent job (I quit Arby's December 19, 2005) and then I would leave my house. Listening to my mother preach on about how she feels everyone should be just ticks me off so bad. Not to mention her mumbling to herself all of the time. I want to escape! If i don't get employment soon, I may end up going to Louisville, KY where Jen and Sheena (yes, they are like that) are and stay with them. I've known Jen forever (since I was at least 4) and I trust her. Oh well. I also feel that one is able to have an emotional attatchment to a member of the same sex that goes beyond friendship, but isn't sexual or easily explained and not be gay. What can I say, I'm an oddball. You live, you learn, right? Oh, and a quote for some of you that's a twist on that old saying and something I came up with: "A ball in the hand is worth two in the sac."

There's no need for a Buick minivan w/the Enclave
I don't think Buick should have a minivan, period. I love the Enclave's interior. Exterior? Ehh, It seems a bit fishy, and I dislike the two arcs at the front and rear of the vehicle. I would prefer one, continuous character line across the body that doesn't droop, but rather angles up to the rear.

2006 NAIAS: Infiniti Coupe Concept
MyerShift replied to Variance's post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Agreed. A facelift, and nothing more. And the front panels/forward of the A-pillar seem(s) to look odd with the rest of the body

Lexus Reveals 2007 LS 460
MyerShift replied to CSpec's post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Looks like Hyundai's Azera. I do love the interior though. This sort of interior is more like what Cadillac should have. *Crossing fingers* That's where the ULS (better name, please) steps in.

2006 NAIAS: 2007 Ford Edge

Exclusive Buick Enclave Pictures!
I don't know, it is better looking than the Rendezvous, but something about it seems a bit Asian, or fishy, or something (Mainly the headlamps I don't really like). Don't care for it yet, but it might grow on me.

Any chance of the G6 getting a DOHC V-6?
For the G6 to be a truly viable option in the eyes of consumers versus Asian or European imports, the engines need to deliver on ALL fronts. Not just efficiency. Not just refinement. Not just technology. They must deliver it all. Another thing that bugs me is the fact that what GM calls "high-feature" engines are what the foreign brands offer as "the usual". I would like to see the 2.8L and 3.6L DOHC engines in the G6. Remember, it's all about what the customer wants.

What should the big Pontiac be?
Bonneville. No more alphanumeric crap. And if the Grand Prix were to be the flasgship, it seems like there should be another model of some sort, but that would conflict with GM's current plan of having only Chevrolet and Cadillac (right?) with full model lineups. The Pontiac flagship should be classy and sophisticated without being too pricey, and have an aggressive rake to the styling that isn't so extreme so as to intrude upon interior space. It should be rear-drive and powered exclusively by V8's.

2006 NAIAS: 2007 Jeep Wrangler
MyerShift replied to Northstar's post in a topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)Yep, the 3.8L is the minivan engine. I thought it was odd as well that Jeep didn't use the 3.7L SOHC V6 that's in use in the other models. I love how the focus for the Wrangler doesn't seem to quiver or get fuzzy.

Nice. Saw a black one on I-69 South a couple of days ago.

Cien
Raise Cadillac's image to the stratoshpere? Hell, with the Cien, Cadillac's image would be pushed to the Ionosphere!!! The Cadillac Cien is, well, to put it simply, wicked. It's edgy, daring, and exciting. It would show that Cadillac is serious beyond all doubt. It would give Cadillac credit in so many areas should it be done the right way. Tell me, what's a Mercedes again? The only other hyper-exotic that even rivals this baby in my eyes is the Chrysler ME Four 12. Too bad the Chrysler's name sucks. What about Chrysler Criterion? The ME looks wild and sophisticated at the same time, and its performance would be jaw-dropping as well, as would the Cien's. The Cien and ME are the best supercars, if only concepts/prototypes.

ULS
I agree on Cadillac needing to perfect its "mainstream" models (though, being Cadillac, how dare we consider it to have mainstream models??) before venturing into high-risk, high-dollar markets and niches. Cadillac is on its way, it needs interiors with more eye-candy, leather, fine stitching, and sensuous style. It needs to have amazing driving manners. It needs to continue the Art & Science Theme. Make it cohesive, yes. Make it dramatic, make it modern. Hardest of all, make it beautiful.
