First Drive: 2007 Suzuki XL7
I posted this in the other thread about the xl7. I did a quick photoshop of the headlight, and I think it would look a lot better like this: Although it is more ordinary. Maybe they were going for something different like this to get attention.

Pricing: 2007 Nissan Sentra
Wow, I get the exact opposite impression. I will have to wait to see one though, the pictures so far haven't been the best.

Pics of pimped out G6 from Pontiac.com
All one color and some non-chrome rims and it would look pretty damn good!

'07 GTI, Si, and MazdaSpeed 3 dyno tests.
They weren't too happy with the 3, the power delivery is apparently not very linear (look at the dyno chart), despite the large peak numbers. If you aren't between 3,000rpms and 5,500 rpms, there is considerably less TQ being made. Full Article

"ACURA" "CSX"
Does GM get blasted in Canada for rebadging?
-
"ACURA" "CSX"
How is this any different than what GM does with all of their models, sometimes across 3 or more nameplates? If Honda is dumb for doing this (which isn't even in the U.S.A. mind you, but in Canada), I don't think there's a word in our language to describe GM... or Ford... or Dodge/Chrysler. Go to the link I put up above, this argument has already happened before when Reg posted last time.

Pricing: 2007 Nissan Sentra
The more I look at this car, the more it confuses me. It has some funky body lines that don't appear to help it. The way the bottom of the windows angles down and then the hood sits up higher. It makes it look more down-scale, like it should be competing with the Yaris Sedan and Fit. The small rims don't help. And the tail lights... Sentra Evolution? The only good view I can find is straight on the front, where it looks pretty good, but the rest of the body just doesn't live up.

First Drive: 2007 Suzuki XL7
The 4cyl version of the RAV4 averages 2-3mpg better than the v6. When I checked the Vue, I believe the margin was larger. For you, it might be a worthwhile compromise to take the v6 and lose a few points, but for a lot of buyers, they would take the 4cyl since it gets better mileage and costs less. Edit: And I'm comparing real world numbers at www.fueleconomy.gov, not the EPA numbers. The 6cyl RAV4 4wd actually gets better hwy mileage than the 4cyl version according to the EPA data.

There are those damn head lights again. Makes the CR-V look good, and that's saying something. :AH-HA_wink:

"ACURA" "CSX"
Did you forgot about the thread you posted almost a year ago here? I've only seen one once, and that's probably only because I live in a border state. It was odd seeing a Civic with an Acura badge and slightly different tail lights (which looked better IMO), made me look twice until I saw the Canada plate.

Toyota Launches Redesigned E14 Corolla
Can you really say every way? What about mileage and reliability (two very big selling points in this segment)? This next Corolla will undoubtably be the EPA mileage king, you can bet Toyota will see to that!

2007 Acura MDX Preview
Tan does look much better: Although I'm not sure the silver trim on the steering wheel goes well with it.

Toyota fears bigger Sequoia is, well, too big
That's pretty good.

Toyota Launches Redesigned E14 Corolla
Both are pretty normal. Nothing exciting about either. The Cobalt Coupe looks much better than the Sedan. But we are comparing Sedans so.... I think they both look ok.

2007 Acura MDX Preview
Nice review. Glad you liked it. I'm still torn for the exterior styling, mainly the front end. From top to bottom. Emergency lights, Climate control, CD player, navigation, and then the heated seats buttons in front of the shifter area. The buttons on the steering wheel control cruise and audio. Are there really that many buttons? This isn't even the model with the higher end audio system and more buttons! I find it hard that people think that's a lot of buttons for a luxury vehicle like this. It's the photos :AH-HA_wink: Here are some more.

Pricing: 2007 Nissan Sentra
No traditional automatic? Only CVT? Not quite sure if that's the best idea. Making a 6sp manual standard instead of 5 is a good idea though. That should help the fuel economy a bit. I still don't like the styling, it looks cheap. Maybe it's the pictures though...

Toyota Launches Redesigned E14 Corolla
I have to admit, it is a very refined car, and looks good inside and out. It looks like it got a lot of influence from the new Yaris, and the front end reminds me of the tC. Nothing special about it, it certainly isn't as modern looking as the new Civic, or as controversial. :AH-HA_wink:

A common problem with the new Civic
It does on all models.

Toyota Hybrid Trim Down (in more ways than one)
When did that happen?

Toyota Hybrid Trim Down (in more ways than one)
50% smaller and lighter and it will still be 2x as complicated, big, and heavy as Honda's IMA...

Sept. 2006 Sales: American Honda
Acura just announced pricing for the new 2007 TL and the 2007 RL. The RL now has a base price of $45,780.00 and the base model excludes Navigation and adaptive front lighting compared to last year. Those prices are effective today.

In Depth: 2007 Dodge Nitro
Sleek due to the sharp lines. It doesn't look anymore aerodynamic than an Element (and probably isn't). Maybe the word I should have used was sharp.
