What is the timeframe for this? I can say that in the last 5 or so years there has been no indication that GM's grass has been green...in fact it's been kinda brown. It really could go either way, though. Accounting isn't exact by any means and involves vast amounts of estimation.

No I actually like the SSR. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I don't quite know what you mean by "expanding" my view, though; I'm not closeminded like some people on these boards are; if a vehicle is good and appeals to me, it doesn't really matter if it's FWD/RWD, BOF/Unibody, etc etc. Sure, I have certain preferences, but I don't limit myself. I still maintain that the SSR is more of a sports car than a pickup. I have yet to meet someone who cross-shopped an SSR with an F-150 or Dodge Ram :lol:

Dude...the only black plastic is the radio unit, as per all GM cars. Fly's right...you really should sit in one first before you make snap judgments. The dash material surrounding the radio is that spongy black dash material GM uses.

Hmmm...my guess would be a dealership. Yea...they tend to have car parts. Since Olds is gone, my guess would be any Buick-Pontiac-GMC dealership. GM will still service Oldsmobiles. Either that or find a mechanic or go through a salvage yard.

Dude certain cars look better/worse in different colors. We all know that. Obviously beige and bronze aren't the lucerne's colors. We know it looks great in red.
