I don't think the coffee is any hotter than at Starbucks, or anywhere else. To make coffee you need boiling water  If it's still warm it must be pretty freshly brewed.

I don't think McDonald's had coffee in the 1950s... Of course, all of the lawsuits have forced companies to make safer products. Cars, appliances, etc. are all safer as a result of lawsuits.

Cell phone ban urged for teen drivers
I just find it hilarious seeing that in all accidents, only a percentage is due to driver distraction. I forget that percentage, but of that percentage, 3% is due to cellular phones. So we are talking about 3% of a percent. Call me John Stossel and gimme a break!

A few notes to cellular customers
If you had all this proof, what ever came of it? You're the first "horror story" I have ever heard with Cingular. We are on a family plan as well, and the bills have never been ridiculous. The only time it got bad was when I was in Grand Cayman and talked to this girl for over an hour...yea $400 phone bill :o but I totally deserved it.

If Zeta Came To North America Which Vehicles....?
FOG: I don't think many people would give up an SUV for an AWD car/coupe/wagon. If anything, it would be for a crossover, which is practically an SUV anyway.

Motorola RAZR
Well, I tend to agree with you, but remember: camera phones have just now gotten cheap. Last summer, camera phones were still $200+ easily, and the RAZR was a phone that could do "everything" AND was tiny as phuck. I think it should have been 2-3 times as expensive as the standard-issue phones back then, considering that it had TWO color screens whereas the others only had one. That said, I never would have paid that much to be the alpha pup for that phone. Just like plasma tvs...or any new technology, really.

A few notes to cellular customers
I agree. Lots of garbage. I would never surf the net, use my phone as an ipod, play games, or use it as an extension of AIM. Why? Because battery life is short enough as is...text messaging and camera are the only extras i really need, and on top of that i like music tones/mp3 capabilities if only to have a good ringtone.

Motorola RAZR
She's prolly done it before. I don't understand how people drop their phones. I've only dropped a phone a few times (over the course of 3 years and 4 phones). I mean, it's a phone; it costs money; I need it; I take care of it. I don't see what's so difficult about that...

Motorola RAZR
Where'd you hear $500 retail? Cingular has them $200 with a plan or $300 retail. NO ONE pays $500 for that phone. Something else to consider: they were close to 1k when they were introduced a year ago.

Motorola RAZR
I don't believe it's glossy...it's a matte black, just like the silver is a matte silver finish. The black around the exterior display screen is glossy though...

Honda Accord Coupe V6
You mean the Civic, right? These look nothing like those on a G6.

If Zeta Came To North America Which Vehicles....?
I like the Bel Air name, and think the Tri-5s have the more recognized image and positive connotation. G8 blows. Pontiac blows. I wish Buick or Chevrolet would get another Zeta in lieu of another for Pontiac. I mean let's be honest, is there a more schizophrenic lineup than Pontiac? Cheap, stripped down cars, and then a GTO and G8? At least Chevrolet has SS and LTZ for all/most of their nameplates so the performance Corvettes and Camaros wouldn't be THAT much of a stretch...

A few notes to cellular customers
Oh, after spending the summer working at Qdoba, I have PLENTY of "stupid people" stories. One in particular I'll throw out is the one about the lady who walked in asking for a Greek Salad.

Huh. evok, I'm surprised no mention of a Riviera/Velite. I was almost certain that was in the cards.

Not sure I follow. Product liability and lawsuits have been around for a long time. Frivolous lawsuits have too. Just because of the media and internet and our increased communications abilities, we hear about it more easily/often. Some things really need to be sued over. Other things? People need to quit being babies. But people have always been babies. I think American society as a whole is far more accepting now than it was even in the 1980s. Will & Grace couldn't have been on in the 1980s, and The Cosby Show was a BIG DEAL back then. Remember Madonna's "Like A Prayer" video? I don't see the scandal. As far as product liability, people sued each other over small things back in the day too. Do you have anything to back up what you said?

A few notes to cellular customers
Well the merger was coming...SBC owns Cingular and had bought out AT&T, so then Cingular had to buy out AT&T Wireless. The Baby Bell ate up Ma Bell. Kinda ironic...

I pick black because it looks so stealth.

A few notes to cellular customers
Now THIS I didn't know...I will stop recommending T-Mobile now to people just because of the RAZR. Hey, I'm starting a new poll...on the RAZR.

A few notes to cellular customers
Do you have insurance? My V400 had water damage when I had it in my board shorts pocket for, oh about 45 min. in my backyard pool. $50 deductible and I had a new $150 phone (this was back summer of 2004 before V400s got cheap). The V400...what a P.O.S. The RAZR though is perfect.
