  1. Well, I'm not surprised by the lukewarm review since she admitted she doesn't understand vehicles like this. I want to read a review by someone in the target market before I make any judgments.
  2. Update your "Tabbed Browser Settings" Add-on. The last release had a major glitch in it, and the new version corrects it.
  3. This is true, and intentional. The original comment was that GM was just meeting the competition. Hence I used all current vehicles. I do not have knowledge of a new Sequoia, if anyone has any info, bring it out. Even with a terrible interior, though, the 2000-2005 Tahoe was one of the best SUVs in its class, if not the best.
  4. Manuals would be tough...I drive autos...
  5. TAHOE: vs. EXPEDITION: DURANGO: SEQUOIA: ARMADA: So...which is the best? The pictures speak for themselves...
  6. Well I will implore you to look at the competition's interiors as Chevrolet most definitely did not join the competition. Go to autodeadline and look at pictures of the Sequoia, the Armada, the Durango and the Expedition. Honestly, people are NOT going to be comparing the F-150 to the Tahoe. They are very different vehicles. The valid comparison will be between the Silverado and the F-150. If you compare the Expedition to the Tahoe, the Tahoe clearly wins. I'll create another post of the interiors of the other vehicles soon.
  7. There is a slight difference with a power trunk and a power liftgate. The trunklids are generally lightweight and required someone to push down for the latch to "catch" and finish pulling the trunklid down. This meant that people's fingers were often at the edge of the trunklid and pinching was not uncommon. With a power liftgate, it motors up and down without anyone's hands needing to be near it. Also, liftgates are a bit heavier and more awkward to open/close than a trunklid.
  8. Nah, LaCrosse has a cheesy burled walnut faux wood pattern, this one is not cheesy burl wood. It really doesn't look half bad and certainly better than what Toyota has.
  9. What is so hard about driving and talking on a phone? Am I just incredibly gifted or what cuz I don't see what is so difficult about it. The only thing that gets tricky is answering or dialing while driving, but I don't do that unless no one is around me or I am at a traffic light. It's no different than talking to someone in the car, actually I find it less distracting than talking to someone else in the car.
  10. Tahoe gets best-in-class mileage. Hybrid version is a year or two away. What's your point? Priuses don't fit everyone's needs...
  11. I honestly like the Tahoe interior better. Remember, the F-150 interior also will have to compete with the Yukon... I like the two-tone interior for Tahoe. I just want to know what it will look like with a dark interior color. Will it still be two-toned, or one color? Either would look nice.
  12. Now I wonder what a GMT-900 H2 will look like...
  13. That's weird. Top interior pic shows the center stack surrounded with wood while the other pics show the top piece a plastic, ditto with wood surround on the armrest...WTF? I LOVE THIS TAHOE!!

Honestly I'd look at either the HHR or an Equinox. If you're looking at G6, get a Malibu or MAXX instead. Same car, better intrior, MAXX is most practical... Edit: Equinox and MAXX are prolly out of your range. Base Malibu starts out the same as a base G6.
  15. Disagree...it looks too much like the Stay-Puff Marshmallow from the front, and it is just too soft and feminine looking, with a rub strip from Hell. I DID like its interior though.

Wait...how does the changer AND the manual fit in the glove box? The manual alone (in case) barely fits in ours and that's with nothing else in it
  17. What on earth are you talking about? The front overhangs aren't large on the current gen, and a few inches really won't be all that noticeable. Gawky designs? I hardly call the 9-3, Aura or G6 "gawky."
  18. Oh, I'm not upset or anything; I was just putting the jackass in his place :) Satty, you forgot the ultimate comfort food: Unless you don't like Mint Chocolate Chip, I'd say this is the best feel-good ice cream flavor.
  19. Just sharing opinions like everyone else in this thread. Got a problem?
  20. Never cared for the Blackhawk...it looks like a replica or restored car versus a retro car. No me gusta.
  21. ACTUALLY, it is very applicable to Chevrolet because GMC is seen as upscale. If you want a fullsized SUV or pickup, Japan, Inc. really doesn't have very tough competition. Ridgeline won't tow. Nissan's Frontier and Toyota's Tundra are both outclassed by the domestics with tow capacity and durability. They have yet to come up with a viable contender to F-150/Ram/Silverado/Sierra
  22. hehehe oh tubgirl...hahahahahaha there HAS to be a story behind that pic, and id love to know it
  23. The GM employee discount pic looks like a GMT-900, looks nothing like the Opel concept.
  24. i never really liked the LaCrosse. It is dated in every way.
  25. There was a Torrent in a USC lot the other day. It really has a completely different presence than the Equinox. Roof rails look different, not as flush. Very attractive SUV.
