2006 Honda
Hey, their Civic looks way better than ours!

Which would you rather have?
Agreed on every point. I prefer the smaller, more tasteful spoiler available on the other trim levels of the Cobalt. Not to mention the Cobalt SS/SC is my current favorite compact.

Autoextremist: The Kings of Short-Term Thinking...
Wow, didn't even think of it like that. I tend to take DeLorenzo's articles as near-Gospel, but that point alone will make me look at his stuff with a more critical eye next time. Thanks.

Mitsubishi Motors releases Lancer Evolution Wagon
Ha!! But seriously, I like it...except the rear end. I think it would have been better served with a treatment like the '99 Tahoe (essentially the same taillights as the sedan that don't stretch to the roof and a third brake light up top). Maybe even a trapezoidal rear window?

2006 Chevy Malibu/Maxx pictures
So I've seen about five or so '06 Malibus in the past two days. Three were LS and the other two looked to be LTs. I have to say, these photos are the first GM photography that are actually flattering to the car, because this has to be the car with the ugliest, cheapest-looking, most half-assed front end ever. Without that lower grille and fog lights, it looks even worse. It matches the rest of the car in no way; however, the rest of the car still looks decent. Never thought I'd say it, but the prior model was nicer looking.

Edmunds First Drive: 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara
Someone told me in another thread that it's not based on Theta, but it's hard to believe with the nearly identical interior layout and front end.

2006 Chevy Malibu/Maxx pictures
I honestly can't tell any difference in the interior aside from the new steering wheel. The exterior, however, looks smoother and more refined. It looks like they "sanded down" those character lines on the sides, and of course the obvious grille and front end revision. Looks like a lower body kit on the LTZ, and they *might* have redone the taillights (they look slightly smaller).

I wonder why, he was my main news source!

2006 SUZUKI GRAND VITARA
Is this built on Theta? Looks just like an Equinox with Saab headlights to me. And isn't that the same Honda engine in the Nox and Vue?

Spy shots from Autoweek
I love it, even though it's very Mercedes. Kill the Torrent and bring this over!!

Asians oversell horsepower
I think you mean SRX. ;) And yes, I agree, all except the Sienna vs. Uplander. As much as I like the interior and features and things, the Uplander is simply outclassed by the competition in a lot of ways.

2006 Silverados
I agree, it is pretty classy-looking while retaining its muscular, aggressive look. Anyone else notice the lack of GM badges on any of those photos?

Fifth Gear Reviews M5
That was a nice vid. I want to see how this car stacks up against an STS-V...so I'll know which one to lust after more.

8th gen civic
I agree, the two-spoke wheel was pretty nasty. It looks to me like a warped '06 Accord, which could be good to some...not so good to me. The coupe looks like it's trying way too hard to be an RSX/IS clone, with more than a bit of Ion in the front and an awkward interior layout.

Roll Call! Name Change?

Good job, z28_luvr. Glad to be back (it was like I was cut off from the entire world of automotives!)
