2007 Lexus ES350 - First Pics.
Thanks, Bluesman. My thoughts: It's not bad. It's an evolutionary design that does well for its intended audience. I like the front end better than any other "L-Finesse" vehicle (yeah, I agree with the poster who said it's what the LS should have been). It looks smaller than it is. (Did they raise the roofline or something?) Just like the Camry, I see new-Hyundai in the rear end (not a good thing), and the interior is nice (not stunningly beautiful, as predicted). That huge oval-shaped center stack is weird (I'm not too fond of most of Lexus' new interior designs anyway, and this continues with their weird shapes and lines). I'm also wondering why they put a sporty 3-spoke steering wheel in a FWD cruiser. So overall, not a bad effort.

I noticed it too, and it looks huge.

Chrysler Firepower
Dammit, I like it! If only it didn't have such Viper-esque headlights.

Official 2007 Camry Pics & Details
Damn, that's ricey. I disagree with its presence...but someone will think it's hot.

2007 Sentra
Ouch, Ion meets Maxima meets BLS. Not cool. On a related note, it's become evident that the Ion is the new standard in compact styling.

New Lexus flagship features 8-speed trans, tech
Credit: AutoWeek The Lexus philosophy for its new flagship sedan can be summed up as “leave no new technology untouched.” Here’s a partial list: Eight-speed automatic transmission Built-in hard disk that can hold up to 4,000 songs of digital music. Combined port and direct-injection fuel system for the 4.6-liter V-8 engine. The engine will be rated at about 380 horsepower and 370 pounds-feet of torque. That powertrain is expected to move the sedan from 0 to 60 mph in less than 5.5 seconds. A Mark Levinson sound system with 19 speakers. Reclining rear seats with foot rests and massage systems. Individual DVD monitors for rear-seat passengers. Sensors for the climate control system that measure cabin temperature and body temperature of the occupants. Electric power steering. A hands-free parking system that will enable the car to pull itself into a parking space – a feature already offered by Toyota on some vehicles in Japan. Buyers of the new Lexus luxury sedan will have a choice of two wheelbases, 116.9 inches for the short-wheelbase model or 121.7 inches for the long-wheelbase version, to be badged the LS 460 L. Lexus plans to release more details about the new sedan’s technology at the Geneva auto show in late February, and will show a hybrid powertrain version of the new LS at the New York auto show in April. [My only question is...why? 8 speed??]

2006 NAIAS: 2007 Ford Edge
El Scorcho replied to Northstar's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)That center stack looks so Japanese. I hate it. Otherwise, I like it. Should be fairly strong competition.

Chrysler Aspen Official Picture
I'm with both of youse. Although the sides do sorta resemble the Tahoe's, it waaaay too much like the T&C and maintains the Durango's goofy proportions. I don't like it.

GM's Lutz: In It for the Long Haul
You know, I was wondering the same thing. And I really tried to understand what he meant. I really did...

New Mercedes C-Class
This is my honest opinion. I love Cadillac, but I'll admit when something else appeals to me (most Infinitis, for instance). However, this does not. It's not shouting down, it's merely stating an opinion.

New Mercedes C-Class
Ow. Disappointing. It looks squished, like too close a cousin to the SUVs, ya know?

Toyota's Onslaught
Let's consider that the T100 and the second Toyota pickup (can't recall the name at the moment) were not full size. Even then, they were not able to make inroads in the midsize market. Whatever market they were targeted after, they didn't compete well enough in.

I'm confused too...at any rate, welcome back! We missed you.

I think you mean Game Boy. Playboy is my uncle.

What do you really think?
I said yes, but there are only a few models that I'm too tired to list.

Forgettable vehicles for $200, Alex
I disagree...the Aztek is quite memorable...as the ugliest SUV of all time, with a few Japanese models not far behind (I'm looking at you Element, Scions...)

Pics of 2009 Camaro for Car show!!!
You know, I don't really like retro, I'm more of an evolutionary design man, myself (see Corvette, Porsche), but I really like this. The only things I would change would be to make the side mirrors production-ready, and a more modern grille (never was a big fan of those grilles).

GMX386
I doubt it would be re-engineered with EpII right around the corner, but it's my understanding it's still on.

Apparently someone is selling Chery already...
38hp and 77lb/ft of torque?! I gotta have it, it's the ultimate ride!!

Volkswagen Passat
I could not agree more. Let's define our terms here...it is a crossover!! [post="56203"][/post] More like it's a stupid idea. What is wrong with an actual coupe nowadays I'll probably never know.

The True Nature of GM's Challenge......
I'm thinking of doing it here in Chicago, too. I think my results will be very different, to say the least.

I thought it was the current Ion.
