DCX to cut 13,000 jobs
Read the reviews......they are decent cars. They just don't have the boatloads of cash that the Asians do (due to their unfair business practices, and unlevel domestic playing field) to buy the best interior materials. Chrysler cars have more style in their turn signal, then Toyota does on a whole car! Like someone on here said recently. If Chrysler's had really nice interiors, there would be nothing to complain about.

Toyota previews Hybrid X concept
- DCX to cut 13,000 jobs
Thanks Toyota, and your other Asian counterparts.- Dodge Demon Roadster Concept
VIDEO!!! http://www.roadandtrack.com/article.asp?se...article_id=4759 Also says the target price is 15K!! Maybe the SRT-4 will be $21K ?- FIRST LOOK: Chevrolet Avalanche/Tahoe/Suburban Z71s
The Z71's are HOTTT!! I hate woodgrain!!- Dodge Demon Roadster Concept
Please.....let's not even start a power argument. Chrysler has been at the forefront of 4cyl turbos for a long time. Remember the last SRT-4 (Neon)?? It was rated at 230 HP, but was actually making 230 HP AT THE WHEELS!.....meaning like 265-275 HP at the crank. Preliminary numbers for the Caliber SRT-4 were announced at 300 HP. Will that be crank or wheel HP? Plus, they have somehow already stated that the Demon weighs 250 lbs less then the Solstice. The SRT-4 Demon would not be beat in power, if it were produced. However, without seeing the Demon in person, I say the Kappas win in the looks department.- And the Cheapest Interior Award goes to...
Yeah, shocking that an interior of an auto show car would be messed up/broken! Most of the cars I've been in at the Detroit auto shows have been trashed.- Dodge Demon Roadster Concept
That original Compass concept had a typically futuristic, exaggerated, concept interior. This Demon concept seems to strangely have an almost production ready looking interior. Look at the switchgear, speedo, turning stalks, and everyone's favorite....heated and cooled cupholders?:- Patriot & Avenger
Got any Avenger R/T's with the 3.5L??.....or are they not making the 3.5's yet?- Dodge Demon Roadster Concept
Oh man, forget that drawing of the Dodge Scooter that I posted in the Geneva Auto Show section. That may have been a decoy for the real roadster, the Dodge Demon: Full gallery: HERE @ ModernMopars.com or : HERE @ Autoblog.com- MOTOR TREND X-OVER COMPARO
- MOTOR TREND X-OVER COMPARO
Wow, you really went through alot of trouble to disprove something that I just stated as an opinion, and even admitted that I may be wrong. I also said "off-roadibility" too. How many people are gonna take an SRX or Edge off road? I just think "corssover" has become too big of a catagory lately, and they can't all be compared on the same level. Here's an excerpt from Wikipedia that seems to agree with my confusion as to what is really a "crossover":- MOTOR TREND X-OVER COMPARO
I guess I don't consider all "car-based SUV's" crossovers.....but maybe they are. When I think of "crossover" I think of Pacifia's, Lexus RX330's, Cadillac SRX's, Nissan Muranos, Ford Edge's, etc. These vehicles don't really look like SUVs. I think ground clearance and off-roadability make certain "car-based SUV's" more than a crossover.- C&D quickest car shootout
2007 Ford Mustang GT Deluxe Coupe - $25,695 Missed it by that much.- New Dodge Roadster Concept??
Could this be the upcoming Dodge roadster concept that was set to debut in Geneva? An alert Allpar.com forum member named "73PlymouthDuster" happened to stumble across this image on a Dodge website that is selling artwork prints: http://dodge.artehouse.com/perl/collection...f58de6dcba3bc05 EDIT: Oops, I guess this should really be in the Geneva Show section, or the Dodge "Other Guys" section. Mods, feel free to move it to where you see fit, but I don't think anyone will be looking in the Geneva Show section just yet.- 2008 Refreshed Dakota
Maybe the 255HP 4.0L V6 will become a mid range engine? Don't really see why they'd offer 3 engine choices though.- 2008 Refreshed Dodge Dakota
I thought about checking there, but forgot to. You can delete this thread if you want.- Preview: 2008 Nissan Titan, Armada and Pathfinder
:rotflmao: That is one of the funniest things I've ever read! I always thought the Titan looked pretty nice, but they make that statement like it's some kind of fact. Do they have proof that "it's the truck of choice" for work or adventure? If it's the truck of choice for work, then wouldn't it outsell the F-150 and Silverado??...... or do most people buy those for non-work or non-adventure purposes??- 2008 Refreshed Dakota
Didn't you used to like Chrysler? I haven't heard you say a good thing about them in over 6 months!- 2008 Refreshed Dodge Dakota
Don't know what happened to my original thread, but it posted at Allpar.com : HERE It was only embargoed till midnight last night?- MOTOR TREND X-OVER COMPARO
The Highlamer is not even a crossover....it's an SUV. The Santa Fe might be an SUV too?- 2008 Refreshed Dakota

Honda, just a step away from custom SEMA audio Civics like this:- Liberty Spied...
The Liberty is a Cherokee in every other country outside N. America. They couldn't call the Liberty a Cherokee in N. America, because both models were on sale at the same time. I guess we'll find out if they go back to calling it a Cherokee in N. America when they introduce the new Liberty/Cherokee. I doubt they will since the Liberty name now has quite a bit of recognition.- Liberty Spied...
I never said that Chrysler had the best, or even better than average interior materials. I was just trying to point out that most major reviews don't have a real problem with the interior, and some even like it. Yes, alot of it is "hard plastic"....but what (non-premium) automotive interior is not nowadays? People are stating that the Nitro has, by far, the worst interior in the class.....but yet the professional reviews state that it is basically on par with what's out there. It appears that you hate most vehicle interiors that are of average quality. You must prefer an Audi or BMW, where you pay a huge premium to have a squishy interior comprised with multiple materials? I didn't even quote you when I posted those reviews. I quoted "regfootball", who notoriously hates Chryslers! - DCX to cut 13,000 jobs
