Recall: 62,400 Chrysler Group Vehicles
They probably traced the defect to a certain lot of parts from a supplier. Could be that all of the parts a supplier made one day were potentially defective. With adequate quality control, you can trace those potentially defective parts to whatever vehicle they were installed in. Just a guess.

Chevy Shows Malibu, Announces Fairfax Investment
I never thought the Sebring was that great looking from the first pics I've seen.....and I haven't seen more than a couple on the streets. But what I am glad about, is that it doesn't look like a Camcorbu. And after seeing the following pics, I'm actually starting to like it. I even saw a commercial today where it looked pretty sweet. I really hope the Bu looks better in person, but from the only pic, it looks like a Camcord.

Chevy Shows Malibu, Announces Fairfax Investment
Like I said....it looks nice and refined.......but it IS A CAMRY: I just prefer that American cars come up with their own unique design, rather than follow the Japanese.

Chevy Shows Malibu, Announces Fairfax Investment
Poor GM and other domestics. I order to sell a car in this segment, they have to make it look Japanese. While it looks refined and clean.....it looks vanilla Japanese now. Makes me appreciate the wierdness of the Sebring more now.

Don't give DaimlerChrysler a pass
They have new minivans coming out. They will probably build a small car like the Dodge Hornet partnered with another automaker (maybe VW). They have the new Sebring and Avenger just coming out, and probably a crossover based on this platform also. With the LY platform they will have the Challenger coupe, along with a new 300(nassau ?) and Charger. It's just new SUV's right now. The Patriot and Compass are 4cyl, so that doesn't really count if you are claiming that they will have nothing fuel efficient.

Don't give DaimlerChrysler a pass
How come nobody can explain why Domestic vehicles have to be big homerun hits that are fresh innovative just to sell....when the Asians make boring appliances that just fly off the shelves. There is a double standard there. The media says that the Domestics have to "build cars that people want".....well according to the Camcords of the world, that vehicle would be a boring appliance......yet when the Domestics come out with a boring appliance, it is deemed a "car that people don't want to buy". The real problem is the unfair trade differences have resulted in the Asian vehicles (aka boring appliances) being built with better quality materials, and more R&D money to be spent on developing more advanced transmissions and engines. To get around the Big 3 complaining about the Japanese not charging as much for their vehicles, they now charge the same amount, but load the vehicles with more "standard options". It's still exploiting unfair trade no matter how you slice it.

Oh No, ASIMO!
Yeah, and Robosapien V2 can recognize colors, react to stimuli, pick things up and throw them....and fall down without breaking.....all for like $200.00. How much does Awesome-O cost??

Spied: Dodge Avenger (non-R/T)
Yeah, the base (Enterprise) Malibu is a stunner: All base models in this segment look pretty crappy. I'm more interested in this comparison:

SubLime Charger Daytona
Here's what we know about the Sublime Edition: * Introducing the latest High Impact Color - Sublime. * Targeted for December production - the Charger Daytona R/T is re-introduced for the 2007 Model Year. * The Sublime Daytona R/T builds on the tradition set by its' three predecessors and is the 4th edition in the Daytona series. * A limited number of 1,500 units will be built for the US market. * Enhancements to the Sublime Daytona include the addition of 20” chrome clad wheels and 245/45R20 all season performance tires. Thanks to "redriderbob" at Allpar.com Here's another pic of a bunch in a lot without the stickers: SubLime Chargers

Oh No, ASIMO!
Exactly. The Japanese are slipping. They are letting videos of their failures reach the public. Someone is getting fired!

Car & Driver 10 Best for 2007
I don't think the 300 won for it's base V6. I think it won because of it's range (choice) of engines, it's RWD configuration, and bold styling. All of which the vehicles you mentioned don't have.

Toyota Exports to USA top 1 million
You can stop posting these stories.......because apparently the US public does not care! Toyotas are better and save the planet......the Big 3's union employees make too much money......if I can't make alot of money and have good health care, then why should I pay for other Americans to??? I would rather give my money to honorable Japanese. Sincerely, The average American consumer

Early Look: Chrysler Nassau, Jeep Trailhawk
2000 Chrysler Nassau This was a concept that was never really shown to the public. It was a design exercise that became the 2005 300C. It now on display in the Chrysler Museum. Maybe "Nassau" is code for what the next 300 will be??
