  1. The Solstice is the most ground breaking vehicle on the list. A very affordable RWD American roadster??? When was that last one of these was built? I don't even remember......maybe the Mercury Capri (lame)? Sure, the CiviD might be nice for Honda, but it's nowhere near as ground breaking as the Solstice!
  2. A guy at work really wanted to get a Ridgeline.........but then he went and looked at one last night. He said that blind spots were so bad, and the interior was so cheap looking that he decided against it. He ended up getting a used loaded Mercedes ML320, and says it feels as solid as a bank vault.
  3. The American economy in ruins.......now that's some funny stuff!
  4. The original Ridgeline:
  5. Unless you're some kind of master psychic......I don't see how you know what is under all of this camouflage, other than the overall shape.....which would hardly determine if something was going to be "HORRENDOUS". I do know that it will have at least 250 HP, and even more in it's top model line.....which I'm guessing could reach 280 HP.
  6. Keep buyin Toyotas, and you will see alot more sad faces in the US and Canada. Cheaper (some would even say unfair) Asian competition is what is ruining GM, not particulally the UAW. The UAW has been around for many, many, years with out any real problems.
  7. We already have a Mazda 5, do we need another one?
  8. Just look to 2006 NAIAS. They will be there. The dealerships just got a preview a couple days ago. Chrysler Sebring sedan and retractable hardtop convertible, and a Dodge Avenger sedan.
  9. :rotflmao: Who said I was talking about you?
  10. When I hear Honda commercials, all I can think of is.......Wow, I used to like Kevin Spacey alot more before he did these commercials.
  11. Liking and buying are completely different things! He likes the GMC.....but he bought a Ridgeline. I like the Honda S2000, but would never dream of giving that much money (as opposed to an $100 electronic gizmo) to Japan.
  12. No, it's obvious that he's one of the members of the Ridgeline Owners Club, directed here by one of our members.......to give us his unbiased view of the Ridgeline. :AH-HA_wink:
  13. I don't understand how you think the Ridgeline is only meant for "day-to-day" driving?? If it can't really do anything a (real) truck can do, then why wouldn't someone just buy an Accord, or Oddyssey? I would think that one of those vehicles would be much more suited for "day-to-day" driving rather than a gas guzzeling Ridgeline. The Ridgeline serves no real purpose.

I don't think "Prius" and "lead foot" are even allowed to appear in the same sentence. I don't think that's the case. Maybe if you said that they do alot more city driving than we do, then that might hold some water......but that does sound like an excuse Toyota would use.

So, the Japanese are even more full of crap than the EPA? (crap?....nice filter/word changer  )
  16. BrewSwillis replied to a post in a topic in Toyota
Wow, the current Prius gets 83.5 MPG?? I guess the next one will get like 110 MPG!! .....and the sad thing is that people will believe this.....not (most) people on here, but the general public will. Another reason to HATE Toyota.
  17. That's almost exactly the same........except for the steering wheel, dash, vents, instrument panel, radio, climate controls, door handles/window controls, shifter, etc.... Dammit, it's 2006....where are the neon lights, digital everything, video confrencing, and human transporter??
  18. Their golf cart is pretty sweet:
  19. The pictures make it look huge.....and maybe it's not........but 300 HP will not: Yeah, 70 mpg and 300 HP is awesome.....but maybe they should put it in something a little smaller that could really benefit from the 300 HP.
  20. I remember a Motor Trend comparo that included an Envoy XUV, and on the mild off-road course the Envoy was incapcitated buy a punctured transmission oil pan. They had to use a Durango to tow it back to civilization. I don't think that would happen in a Jeep.
  21. Yeah, but the Ridgeline has a trunk.....in the bed!!! :o
  22. So, is that supposed to help his credability or hurt it?
  23. Don't get too excited.....I'm pretty sure they will never make anything anywhere near resembling that. Would be cool though.
