I could be wrong but I thought that I had heard that the Aura that Saturn will have soon was originally the Alero replacement and that they did very little other than to change the badges It tough to not ask what COULD have been: -Aurora powered Intrigue -Blown Alero w/5 sp (Which I would have purchased dammit! :) ) -Alero Convertible

I can say with confidence that if they were TRULY STOCK cars - I would want to be in the Charger!! :) (And I am a big nascar fan but to say these cars are stock is a joke!)

I am wondering if anyone has any photos or even just information on what projects the Olds guys (and gals) were working on before the ax came down. I am sure things such as the Alero replacement (Aura), Intrigue and the Aurora replacement were well underway in terms of development. Just kinda wondering what we all missed out on because the General loves Saturn and Buick...

What you couldn't get a pic of the Alero Convertible next to it? Too bad that one never made it to the autoshows :(

As many Olds carshows as I have been to (which has to be a ton in my 24 years on this planet) I don't think I have ever seen one of those... Great find!

From what I had heard in the past - the Aura was supposed to be the Alero replacement... At this point I would rather see Olds ride off into the sunset and not have a 2nd failed attempt at life - I sure would like to see what they had in mind for the next gen Aurora and what the Olds version of the Aura was going to be

It almost looks Viking Blue... but I guess the year would be wrong for that... :P
