Chevrolet Camaro Concept: Design
umm... maybe i'm missing something, but the first sketch (captioned "these two sketches...") includes what is pretty much unmistakably a pontiac vehicle, positioned just above the camaro that should've gotten produced (IMO). those are the proportions I've been raving about for the past, oh, 4+ years.

How often have you got drunk?
there's nothing special about it... a bunch of alcohol with a horrible flavor (IMO). there's a myth that certain drinks yield various different 'types' of drunkenness, but unless it's something special like real absinthe or it's been mickeyed, it's all the same active drug (ethanol) and various flavorings. not addressing anything in particular here, but my friends do that and it's annoying. "oh it was definitely a jager night", NO YOU WERE JUST DRUNK AND DUMB AND I WISH I WAS THERE

How often have you got drunk?
legally drunk (0.08% blood concentration) at times, depending on my tolerance, has little effect, and produces no hangover. on the other hand, i've puked from alcohol consumption exactly once, after twelve shots of goldschlager (87-proof), and a few shots of tequila (2-3, one was out of a doubleshot glass with some red bull, tasted like gasoline). i didn't have a hangover that day, although i did drive into work drunk (it was on a wednesday night).

How often have you got drunk?
"drunk" is a pretty subjective term. how many nights have i drank alcohol? maybe 100-150 in the past year. how many nights have i been obviously drunk? maybe 50-70 times. less frequently lately, though.

Personality problems?
I think you really just want to be older than you really are. I've had the same problem through life, so it's not a big deal. not everyone is big on clubbing or partying or the like, but why do you suppose you're against having fun? surely if you were just more mature than they were and above their level, then you would simply live, and let live, and not be defensive?

Personality problems?
it goes to show you that (save for serious addiction or people who stupidly start way too early in life) drug use doesn't really have a huge bearing one way or another. it's not something that makes you cool and it's not something that makes you a horrible person. it's also not necessarily something to be looked down upon. all of that includes drinking. the coolness factor of having a cocktail in your hand at a party pales in comparison to what a real personality and a wealth of knowledge and culture can provide.

I'm Not Making It Too Obvious, Am I?
so gay guys are more concerned about the presence of bodily fluids on their sheets than straight guys?

Versatile Personalities?
The key thing that has worked for me is not to concede points, but to effectively offer a concession to your opponent in the form of a question. In this way, you draw them as much as halfway toward your viewpoint. (If you are truly good, you may actually see some of their point and move in their direction as well.) In arguing with a fanatic, sometimes one must be artful with the truth. The best concession is one that completely neutralizes your opponent's point. Opponent: "String theorists believe their theory solves every problem known to man? How about (some point that string theory may not answer)? They're pulling that outta their asses!" Responses could include (if available), a factual address to the claim in the form of a correction, an admission that they don't have all the answers, or: Me: "String theory doesn't have all the answers. It's a pretty well-supported model in that it explains a lot of phenomena in the universe, but of course as with any side, the loudest people will claim to know everything. The truth is, they don't, but if they admit it, then the people that DO claim to know everything will rip them to shreds!" This has happened a number of times (although never about string theory and always about something much more controversial). It didn't always take this form, but nevertheless it did always demonstrate how keeping a perspective wider than the scope of your opponent's arguments often helps in dealing with fanatics. Don't allow yourself to be swung about by other people's arguments on all matters. It is one thing to be a student, but it is quite another to be completely without passion and conviction.

What Decade of Music Do You Like?
I think the past 10 years in music have been pretty interesting, the past year or two especially so. I'll admit 2000-2004 or so had some of my favorite releases, but music is certainly heading in *many* great new directions lately. The "00's" are a very exciting time indeed!

Movies you've seen fanatically
I've probably seen ghost dog about 10 times, harold and kumar and van wilder a couple dozen each... pi i watched maybe four times, each time getting a whole new appreciation for the movie. (each time I watched it I was like, "oh NOW i get it". i don't see this changing soon.)
