http://autospeed.drive.com.au/cms/A_1970/article.html from that article: The Cadillac El Camino, first displayed in 1954 as part of GM's Motorama show, had a fibreglass body and a brushed stainless steel top which was a preview of Cadillac styling later that decade. The passenger compartment used a curved glass, aircraft-type bubble canopy.

that seems to happen to me every time, which is why I think when I have deja vu, I'm just remembering the present.

seems like deja vu is just remembering what's currently happening, like short term memory becoming really focused. I don't think you can edge that up so that you can remember the future, unfortunately (though I've had situations where a day resembles a dream I had the night before).

bleh, those $400 battle packs are toys anyway. basically the only decent tables are made by Technics or Vestax, take this from experience!

dance is fairly spendy as well, $8-12 a single. sampling is fun! i know i've probably asked you this before, but do you spin anywhere?

every manufacturer's made a lemon, that sucks. can you have them buy it back under the lemon laws?

GM - Vette. come on, if you have $50k to spend you're silly not to. Ford - nothing Chrysler- nothing Euro - BMW Z4 Asian - Honda S-2000. out of all of those, I'd make the tough decision to pick the S-2000 over the 'Vette.
  10. could be suspension? I know the later models feel cheaper interior-wise and steering-wise, but I never compared ride and handling.
  11. there is, considering that the '88 and the '95 are basically identical, structurally.

i'm sorry but guy #1 has a really dorky haircut.
  13. that the accord couldn't do as much damage to the caprice as the other way around does not make the caprice a safer car. if it protects the occupants, who cares about the damage that gets done! it's not as though life is a destruction derby (although most houston drivers would beg to differ)

did not realize that! yeah, the SVX has some great proportions, but the little Delorean windows (that was my hint) gotta go... they're kinda dorky in my opinion.

giugiaro is great, see also the VW Scirocco and the Delorean for more examples of his handywork.
  16. happy thanksgiving cmattson and everyone else! enjoy your tofurkey or meat-based tofurkey substitutes!

is time always dilated in your dreams? it is in mine. last night (well, this morning) over the course of about 5 hours i had a dream wherein over the course of about 2 weeks i was continually drugged, robbed and brainwashed in order to pilot a spaceship for a band of thieves or terrorists or something. the whole time i just wanted my stuff back, the druggings to stop, and i'd fly the damn ship anyway, but they continued to threaten to kill me if i remembered anything. there was a lot of light blue paneling/dark blue neon lighting involved, and i'm pretty sure they kept kidnapping and robbing me off montrose blvd. near the lounge. once, i had a dream that i was in a coma for three years.
  18. take that, vehicle which accepts more damage strategically in order to protect its passengers rather than remaining rigid and potentially ejecting them, causing them significantly higher potential damages! STUPID ENGINEERING, HONDA CAN GO TO HELL
