  1. I agree...I think these cars really came into their own after 1980....although I do like the '78, '79 Cutlass. But I just couldn't believe how clean and mint this original 28 year old car is.
  2. I wash as often as I can...and wax I use Turtlewax ICE....it's easy, dosen't last long but the reduced effort is worth it IMO.
  3. Obviously we won't know for sure until the autopsy results are in and the estimated time or death for each body is determined, and the one who has been dead the shortest amount of time must be the murderer. Don't tule out the possibility of the wife being the killer...anyone remember Phill Hartman?
  4. It is pretty much confirmed a double murder-suicide...officials estimate that Chris Benoit murdered his wife and seven year old son, possibly on Saturday and comitted suicide on Monday the 25th.
  5. You've got to be kidding me, and if not then pass whatever it is that you're smoking....cause I gotta get me some of that
  6. :rotflmao:
  7. I'm going on three weeks since my fiancee of sorts left me for an online romance....I haven't even recieved one call to see how I was doing, if I was going to be ok, if we could talk about it and us and what brought this sudden split up. It just goes to show you when people are greedy and only care about themselves they go from one sugar daddy to the next until they're old and wrinkled and then either have to deal with being alone or settle down with someone who might not even be in the same league as some of the people they may have burned over the years. For the last two and a half weeks I've gone from thoughts of suicide, to f@#k you and everyone else mode, to straight out "ok gotta try to pick up the pieces and move on" mode....to where I am now, which is just miserable and lonely. When you have your heart ripped from your chest in such a way as these situatuions often do, in my life I find it very hard to function on any kind of social level, I become a recluse and rarely speak....I haven't been out of my house more than 4 times in nearly 3 weeks. It is a horrible feeling to feel empty inside/dead inside....I'm just trying to figure out a way to move on.
  8. I believe the results when I see them. So far I'm not impressed by and V8 featuring cylinder deactivation, I see no improved fuel economy results that warrant the cost in development nor in repairs should something go wrong. A vehicle as heavy as a 300C with a Hemi is still gonna get $h!ty mileage when it's running on less cylinders, because of the added strain of carrying the car's weight. Diesel engines are a different story. I curious to see the next Hemi with it's improved Mileage...getting a whole 15 MPG

  13. My uncle bought a brand new Ninety EIght in 1991 in those colors, black and silver....I must say that was a sweet Olds, and a contributing factor in my love of Oldsmobiles. I've always wanted a black and silver Ninety Eight since then. It's great to see that sig again.
  14. You my friend deserve a beer for that effort
  15. Thanks again Fly...no rush
  16. Thanks Fly, I thought coil packs were nore expensive than that. What size socket will I need to pull the plugs? and what kind of clearence am I'm looking at for the rear plugs?
  17. Well congrats, and I'm looking forward to my first 1,000 too
  18. I just have a few quick questions in regards to changing a coil pack. What exactly is involved in changing one? I have a missfire on cylinder 6 on my series 1 3800 SC motor. Should I change all three and the plugs and wires and what do I have to do to change the coil pack itself? What am I looking at cost wise? I haven't been able to drive my Riv in a week now due to this, and with no other form of transportation at this time, I really need to get this thing fixed. Lastly what tools will I need? Thanks in advance guys.
  19. Hey Fly if you come through I-95 through NY, I'd meet up with you for a brief cruise with two 1970's GM boats, your Lesabre and my Delta 88
  20. Go for a long drive, listen to some music, go to a book store, something will take your mind off of it long enough, so maybe you can solve it looking at it froma different perspective when you think about it again. Thats what I do, I usually go for a drive and blast some tunes.
  21. Glad it went well, hope you feel better soon.
