Le Mans 24Hr 2015
I LOVE this kind of racing. I love the 4 different classes all racing at the same time. There is so much high end tech with the prototypes and then "street turned race" in the lower GT classes. I actually just wish they raced more ad it was covered better, more like NASCAR was covered. I understand that is unrealistic but that's what I want..lol Oh jeez.. the AF Corsa Ferraris.. I agree with you Susimi. They are always causing accidents. I feel like more than the two incidents in the past 3 years than you said also.

Ugh that sucks! That's gotta be frustrating not being able to detach from the job on your time off. I've found as an adult that I find less enjoyment in travelling to a destination than just having time off at home to enjoy my hobbies. I'm uncomfortable enough just spending hundreds frivolously to have "fun" on vacation, and then I have limited internet access, can't play music (piano/keyboard), and lose all the privacy and amenities of my sweet "man cave" at home in exchange for the constant forced shared space. I guess I'm weird in that way. Man, I feel the same exact way! No, you're not weird at all. I feel the same way about vacations..

Gun Enthusiasts Thread
Nice choice. A buddy of mine has an M&P .45(full size, wouldn't carry that) and it's a pretty sweet firearm. I've only shot it once but it's awesome. Sounds stupid but, what color are you getting? I only ask because my friend got his in desert tan and looks awesome. I didn't know if they made it in OD green as well or just black and desert tan.

favorite vehicle?
I have two friends that have these. One Vert and one Coupe. ..dicks.. lol I'm not a vert fan at all but These with the roll bar still manage to look tough to me. Are your friends' Mystics as well?!? ..one day I'll have one.. once they are considered classics probably. Both Mystics, yes. One (vert) is stock except intake, smaller pulley, and cat-back. The Coupe has a bigger blower, full bolt-ons, etc. Made like ~670whp as of last dyno. BOTH MYSTICS?!? F your friends man.. Hahaha 670rwhp.. that's just nuts. Badass, but nuts. As much as I'd love to build a bamf Terminator, I would be content with the 390hp with exhaust. Borla's(with an off road x-pipe) if money weren't an issue.

Motorcyclist vs Truck Hick (Warning: NSFW Language)
I saw this the other day on the ole facebook. I'm extremely curious as to what happened before any of this. Because from all I saw is the truck deserved the head butt. No reason to be in the other lane like that then get out and get in the other guys face, which is why I'm curious about what preceeded this incident. All while saying he has kids in his truck as he locks up the brakes in reverse, hypocrite much? Well they look trashy as F anyway. I wouldn't have expected anything less.

LOL actually, you get ads based on your browsing history. I don't choose the ads. Hahaha that's hilarious! I've googled "farmer's only" before because I questioned if it was a real thing, it is by the way. For those of you not near farms.. it's an online dating site for, you guessed it, FARMERS! Hahaha So.. now it makes me curious why I have these dating sites ads on mah phone!

day road trip + track time, oil & traditions
I can completely understand why people can't get into NASCAR..but I love it. It is the only form of racing(on TV) that they actually bump and make contact without an instant wreck. Okay, I guess motocross is in that group too.. But the competition in NASCAR as opposed to any other form of racing is by far and away the best. The cars aren't the fastest, most aero dynamic, lightest.. but they still rock big american V8s, they will bump into eachother, fights every once in awhile.. Most other forms of auto racing there isn't 1/3 of the field competing for a win each week. There are the occasinoal dominating wins but for the most part there is just great competition.

I've always wished there was a road course within a reasonable drive from where I'm at but all we have here is a bunch of dirt tracks and Gateway Motorsports Park(hey have a drag strip and an oval track the NASCAR truck series and Nationwide series run on. I wish the Cup series would come here.

I was on craigslist for no good reason today and came across this gem of a post. http://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/5037065595.html It isn't so much the vehicle or anything.. but they took pictures of their phone pictures to use. The person even acknowledged it but it's still funny to me. Classic craigslist.

did it again
Congrats on the new truck and your mileage is absolutely phenominal! My dad's '13 Tacoma(v6 4WD) is nowhere near that. btw, I dig that grey color!

The first thing that comes to my mind when asked is this.. There are faster or better all around cars out there..but this tugs on my heart strings every time.

Congrats! It is always fun getting a new car!

Yeah I've seen about everything run at the track. Honestly, it is just a blast. There were much much slower cars run than your '09 Civic. If you like speed I would still suggest it. Plus while you're waiting you get to bs with other car guys around you.

Watch a 300-HP Kawasaki H2R Race a Veyron, McLaren 12C, 1350-HP GT-R
If it was anything like my dad old bike he brought back after a 15 year hiatus it really wasn't worth the money. The most expensive part was actually the front forks. The pitted over the years and there's no way of fixing them or replacing the seals because the tiny pits just reripped the seals. It actually scared the F out of my once because randomly they acted really funny(because they don't have the same amount of oil, pressure) and I got a really nasty tank slapped at like 60mph for no reason. After that I was done with it. But that kind of thing is definitely fun to tinker around with. Old bikes just don't have the parts availability that cars do so they tend to be kindof expensive for stupid things.

New transfer from MT Forums
So Babcock just became the 30th coach in the Maple Leaf's history. Who whoulda thunk that? I heard rumours about Babcock leaving Detroit about a month ago...I said 'no way!' Then I heard rumours about Babcock going to Toronto about a week ago...I said...'never again will I listen to stupid sports talk radio with all this crap they feed us!' Well, I am shocked to say the least. But...to quote Johan De Nysschen...its gonna get worse before its gets any better, for the Maple Leafs, even with Babcock at the healms...its gonna take every single second of that 8 year deal for him to actually make something outta that team. Who knows....if he could get all of the team on same page...maybe trade a few of the bad apples...maybe shut the door on the Toronto journalists... The Bruins hired within...Don Sweeney as GM. I dont know about that move...it looks to me as if Cam Neely wants to be surrounded with people that kiss hiss ass. It seems like he wants to create his own boy's club...If I were Claude Julien...Id look for the boy's club mentality, if it is present...and Id get myself the hell outta there... I could be wrong...and Don Sweeney will return to building a Big Bad Bruins Team...but I aint so sure he has the knowledge to do that...yet... Olds, you're always good for a good, long response on just about any topic. I'm not sure about the Babcock move though. I'll always remember him as a Red Wing. He and Datsyuk ate the two main reasons why Detroit is one of my favorite teams. I'm impressed on the number of different topics that he can give a 3 part novel response to. Pretty much anything and everyting! I love it.

Take a class. I very highly suggest taking a class. I took one when I was 16 with my dad(he knew how to ride but wanted me to learn). It was a great learning experience. There are beginner classes around here that are only 20 bucks and you get it back after the class or you can donate it to help continue to fund the classes because the instructors are volunteers. Mine was a little 3 day class, friday evening for a couple hours in a classroom. Then satuday we split the day half room, half on bikes. Sunday the same and then we took a test at the end. If you pass you just wait for the paper in the mail and get your license at the DMV(no testing there because you passed) and you get to check the box fr your insurance company that you took a safety class.

Vehicle: Ford Mustang Mach 1 (2003)
Name: Ford Mustang Mach 1 (2003) Date Added: 22 May 2015 - 02:30 PM Owner: ccap41 Short Description: I no longer own her but I had some pictures and I know I'll talk about it so I might as well have her good looks accessible! I bought her with only 43,000 miles on the clock for 12,500. Only thing done was SLP catted Xpipe and SLP Loudmouth 1 catback. I absolutely love how the 4.6 sounds.. m favorite sounding vehicle..possibly ever. I'm not a fan of the SLP but I didn't see it worth the money to change it all out for essentially the same performance. I only had her for a year before I realized I can't drive it in the snow, at all. I felt terrible borrowing my parents vehicles even though they let me without hesitation. I sold it to be a grown up.. It was my second mustang. My first was a 2004 GT. I'll have to see if I can find some pictures of her. View Vehicle

^ When it comes to "vents" and badges and strips around the cabing(windows)..I just think that stuff looks tacky. I really don't mind chrome wheels it is all the other chrome stuff that drives me nuts. It was actually the first thing I did to my Escape was to paint the badges on the hatch and the two chrome bars that go through the grill black. Thank God Plasti Dip makes amateurs look like pros.

Yeah, but it would take about 30 minutes to make the Camaro look exactly like the chop. I have never left a vehicle I've purchased untouched. Not one. The Stingray for instance, within 2 days of owning it I had: 1) Blacked-out taillights 2) Blacked-out Chrome Strip on front 3) Put front Valance/Splitter on Carbon Flash 4) Tinted Windows 5) Put tinted overlays on all four marker lights and two rear reflectors by week 1.. had tuned it and removed CAGS As an enthusiast, I will never be happy with the way a car comes from the factory. There is always something I want to personalize. While I never leave anything I have factory, or the way I bought it. I've never overhauled something so quick! Are you also not a huge fan of chrome?? I've been 'diping my chrome pieces in black. Chrome(not on wheels) always just looks cheap to me. What % tint did you put on her? I will never have a vehicle without tinted windows anymore. Not after the first time I had m windows tinted, I'd never go back. I agree, Other than wheels, I hate chrome on my rides. Like Monochromatic for the most part. My Tint is illegal according to the state code and yet the amount of unmarked state troopers with limo black out windows all around is amazing. Never been pulled over for it either. There aren't too many of us who dislike chrome. I would only put chrome on my vehicles if I owned a dark red or dark blue vehicle because black wheels look out of place to me on those dark colors. Yeah, technically my windows are illegal as well.. but at legal levels it isn't really worth having done. I put 20% all the way around and I would never go lighter. Unless I get hasseled about it I'll never change it or even think twice about it. I drive an Escape right now anyway..what kind of ruckus could I get into with that anyway??? hahaha
