Chrysler News: FCA In Discussions With A Partner To Build 200 and Dart
If the original Fusion wasn't based on the Mazda 6 it wouldn't have been nearly as successful. Food for thought......... Ford then, like Fiat is now of Chrysler, pulled the strings. On November 18, 2008, Ford announced that it would sell a 20% stake in Mazda, reducing its stake to 13.4% thus surrendering control of the company, which it held since 1996.

Ford - Only Auto MFG - World’s Most Ethical Companies Honorees
Corporate culture is it exactly. Some corporations have terrible corporate culture and some have great corporate culture.. and what's on paper verse what's reality also matter. You may have the best corporate governance documents in all the land, but if they aren't implemented in the workplace, they mean squat. Does the corporation encourage the reporting of issues both on paper and in practice, or do they have a policy on paper and ignore it in practice? The latter is what got GM in hot water over the ignition switch scandal and what hurt Toyota with the driver's pedal sticking. At GM, Mary can issue all of the governance documents she wants, but unless all of the people in the ladder follow it (including middle management, the group of people who usually screw up the implementation), it doesn't matter. If Ford has won this award, they probably have both the good governance documents and the culture of following that governance, then they have a reason to be on this list. https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/news/2015/03/09/ford-named-a-2015-worlds-most-ethical-company-by-ethisphere.html http://www.conceptcarz.com/a14870/FORD-ONLY-AUTOMAKER-ON-ETHISPHERE-INSTITUTES-LIST-OF-2016-WORLDS-MOST-ETHICAL-COMPANIES.aspx

Ford - Only Auto MFG - World’s Most Ethical Companies Honorees
" The World’s Most Ethical Companies program honors companies that excel in three areas – promoting ethical business standards and practices internally, enabling managers and employees to make good choices, and shaping future industry standards by introducing tomorrow’s best practices today. Honorees have historically out-performed others financially, demonstrating the connection between good ethical practices and performance that’s valued in the marketplace. Yes, it will be based on the Wrangler so it will be printing money for FCA. I wonder how bad of fuel mileage the Jeep truck will get compared to the other trucks who have at least visited wind tunnels. It'll be rated 18/19 city/highway, lol. Actually the current Wranglers are already rated over 20 MPG on the hwy with the old 5 speed auto. This will be based on the new Wrangler which will be lighter, more aerodynamic, and have the 8 speed auto. m I say it will not have a problem matching Colorado FE engine for engine. No chance it would match the Colorado if they are working on similar drivelines. I mean even if the Wrangler truck had the newest 8 or 9spd from the FCA camp you're still talking about pushing a brick through air. I highly doubt they will be ballsy enough to change the look of the new Wrangler enough to be considered "aero efficient" by anybody's standards. I can't imagine it changing much from the current Wrangler's 16/21. I would definitely expect improvements but not a whole lot. 17/24 in its most efficient trim. Now if it has a 2WD version that would get another little bump over the Wranglers but I just don't see a way that this will match a Colorado's 18/26 in the v6 at all. Its not only " pushing a brick through the air ". Under vehicle aerodynamics on a vehicle are often overlooked. And on the Wrangler, they are less than ideal and greatly affect its drag coefficient

Ram? 200? 300? Cherokee? Pro Master? ( FCA is headquartered in London UK ) Oh c'mon. He isn't being that picky about the exact location of headquarters or where the assembly line is located. As you can see by my V-6 Pinto post, I'm just playing...

I'd love to post a link... Nothing creepier than someone creating an account to troll and stalk others.
