Amd Kaveri/new gadgets..
It's a 'crypto-currency.' Entirely digital and technically, untraceable. But it has fluctuated wildly and since 'everyone' has jumped onto the bandwagon, it's hard to mine coins. People often spend more money on power and hardware than they make up in Bitcoins. Lots of literature out there on it. Plus, there's all kinds of competing currencies like Litecoin and even Dogecoin lol!

'splain please? AMD cards mine Bitcoins far more efficiently than nVidia's offerings. So demand for Bitcoins has driven the price up on AMD's cards, which used to have a price-advantage over nVidia.

Has AMD figured out how to make their new processors not worse than the three-year old models yet?- Mitsubishi News: Rumorpile: Mitsubishi Goes Plug-In Hybrid For Next Lancer Evolution
I'm assuming this is Mitsubishi's attempt to exit America with a bang, instead of a whimper like Suzuki. How else can anyone explain such a dumb idea? The Evo is a balls-to-the-wall performance machine - its formula is almost sacred - and that got a lot of people my age into cars in the first place. The Evo is why Mitsubishi is even on the automotive map. It's a halo car. Why change it? I'm sure this plug-in car will be cool, but if it isn't, it'll likely kill the entire brand.- Ram News: Ram Finally Confirms Small Cargo Van, To Be Named ProMaster City
Why is there this weird fixation on the 'ugliness' of these vans? Van's were never meant to look 'good' or desirable. They're supposed to value function over form. Is this America's passive-aggressive way of being upset that Europe does vans better? PINNACLE OF COMMERCIAL AUTOMOTIVE DESIGN RIGHT HERE:- Entertaining? Informative?

Dealerships have the best oil!- Vehicle: Chevrolet Avalanche (2013)
Over a 20K difference for this vehicle. You could put a Fiat 500 in the box and still come out money ahead. With luxury vehicles, the gap is quite sizeable. It narrows when you get to smaller vehicles but it can still be a few thousand. Most insulting, is that a Grand Caravan in the US is $7,000 less than an identical one in Canada. That's a lot of diapers for a young family. It's not the government or taxes or tariffs. It's pure greed on the part of automakers and they're flipping the bird to NAFTA. Overall, us hosers are getting the hose. Aside from Ford, all the automakers have the poor dealers sh*t scared about selling to Canadians. Some even lie to their own employees, telling them to say warranties don't apply to Canadians. Many dealers are also threatened with having their licenses revoked. To do the whole thing correctly, we needed an Amerifriend to wire cash to, and go through the buying process. It was if we were laundering money or contract-killing.- Vehicle: Chevrolet Avalanche (2013)
Another truck added to the family. I've been pleasantly surprised by the smooth ride on Vancouver's notoriously bad roads. Rear visibility and blindspots are a bit of a pain, but that's alleviated by the backup camera. The interior is 'dated' but well put-together and very comfortable. It already has ~3,500km's as it's made a journey from a dealership in the central US, through the Canadian Prairies, over the Rockies and onto the Left Coast.- Vehicle: Chevrolet Avalanche (2013)

He'll be vindicated either way. If everything checks out, his vehicle remains the safest car ever in North America. If there is a problem, he has taken the initiative to find the flaw(s), fix them and provide good customer service. It's called corporate responsibility. Something that the rest of the auto industry has rarely been good at.- Biggest one day stock drop due to auto Fire in Seattle Suburb

- The Final Bummer?
It's because GM knows there aren't 3000 El Cam fans with 45K. For comparison's sake, an F150 Raptor is 44.5K MSRP.- GM will offer Internet Access in 2015 models
That's why it's weird. If someone doesn't already own a smartphone, they're probably not interested in using internet in their vehicle in the first place. Any remote interest in this will be nulled by AT&T's ridiculous data pricing. So although it's an option, it has next to zero appeal. Good going, GM!- GM will offer Internet Access in 2015 models
This makes sense for the year 2010. Why is this needed when phones have hotspot functionality now? It'd be far more compelling if GM offered the service for free for the first several years of ownership. Advertising a nationwide data allowance of 2GB monthly would get noticed very quickly. Otherwise this is something nobody really wants.- Chevrolet News:Chevrolet To Keep The Fleet-Only Impala Limited Till 2016
