I think certain names should stay dead.... century-100 years...o my oldness lasabre-sounds like a midevil weapon....oldness Roadmaster- everytime I hear that i think of "wagon" for some reason I do like park avenue and regal though...very classy. And If buick wanted to break back into the sport market...Electra is a great name to bring back....It's sounds very sporty and a certain celebrity comes to mind... It would make a great hardtop. Invicta is cool too.

Why can't GM just update the original EV1 system?

Although I am completely on the fence as to what to do with this weird body damage... the photos have been enhanced so you guys could get a more accurate idea of what I'm talking about.

I have come to a descision...the car is staying white...white hides body imperfections better then a darker car,...and I know that I am not spending $5000+ just to get the body perfect...major dents and dings I'll get removed. Also, I won't have to paint the door sills and sheet metal under the hood.

I got the car from my godfather.It was bought by a woman in the next town over from me...she used it to buy groceries and shop...then she died and left the car to her grandson who ended up being the boss of my cousin who found the car for my godfather about 10 years ago. He took it to shows etc but he didnt use it as much as time went by because his wife wanted a new car...then in 2003 their house burnt down so the car sat in the driveway not even being started up. Then last may he asked me if I wanted it. So last summer I stayed there for a week to clean up the car and I got it towed here in octo.ber. Now it's mine

That's the problem...It's so hard to find listings of my car...the only ones i have found had 80,000+ miles on them. The last one I found was a loaded convertable in dark green for $25k

Well, the electra was sliding on the ice while I was going up the driveway...but thats because I started on the ice...but it was fun to rev the engine and then the car catching the pavement and rushing up the driveway.

balthazar said that painting it red could actually make it more desirable to buyers...because white has a boring reputation. I was expecting $10k+ because the engine is practically new...

Im just curious...how much would you pay for: A 1966 Buick Electra 225 Custom 2-door hardtop 325 hp V8 15,000 original miles auto transmission manual features(windows,locks,mirrors, seats) AM radio Power steering/breaks deep red vinyl seats bright red exterior(new paint job) all in excelent condition? I want to know how desirable my car will be after I finish it...planning on selling it in 5 years...maybe.

the front is nice..but the back does nothing for me...and i hate the fact that bumpers seem to barly exist anymore...the back looks so flat

I suggest a used 06 Grand Prix....you can get one extremely cheap. most 06's with between 13-20000 miles for between $12-17000 06 Grand Prix

I am so scared to drive the electra around....its so different from modern cars...the back end is so long and the front end is huge.

and i haven't seen seats like that in a car around $15k in a long time plus theres cloth on the doors...something recent models of many cars fail to do

Yeah I was driving my aunt's 05 PT Cruiser on Saturday...there was a grand marquis in front of me and all of a sudden it put its blinker on and slowed down quickly to turn...luckily i hit the brakes and stopped within afoot of the stupid car...and yet he still sat there with the blinker on for no reason....so i beeped and he moved
