well of course its junk....1st year model....old engine. Later model years with auto transmissions recieved the 150 hp 2.4 liter engine rather then the 2.0 liter 130 hp thats in your friends car. For the orignal price(around 15k), in 99 you could get all power features, cassette, 6 speakers, and a midsized interior and trunk. My dad payed $12k in 99...it was a repo with 15k miles.

06's weren't trashy cars...they were just behind the competition...but yea...GM could sell it to fleets and make money while eleiminating old stock.

Chrysler's not making profit now because of the interior quality and not so great lower tier engines...the german's don't know how to do anything correctly...GM could easily drop some engines into Chrysler cars and upgrade interiors...and maybe kill off a few models.

profit from Chrysler cars after they've been through the GM upgrades...then people wouldn't complain about how cheap the interiors are and there would be a reason to buy a Chysler vehicle. plus an 06 megasale would rake in some money.

What year??? because 98-00 were great...well my experiences anyway. and dodgefan...if you want to impress the dad...take a cloud car around tight turn...it handles extremely well.

I just said that on page 5....it makes complete sense....all chrysler profit would go to GM and the whole leftover 06 volume thing wouldn't be a problem...GM could have a huge megasale to get rid of them...imagine how many people would flock to buy a brand new sebring for $9000...GM would clear out 06's in no time.

Honestly...what is wrong with their cars besides interior quality....ofcourse there are some design flaws...but what else? They have compitant engines, great designs(for the most part), some smaller innovations, and not many brands...3.

If Chrysler was bought by GM....Idon't see why GM couldn't just keep the chysler dealership network and keep Chrysler a seperate company with seperate product...part sharing could be benificial to both companies though...GM would just own both. All GM needs to do to with Chrysler is do what they did with themselve...improve quality...and now GM has the resources and the brainpower to do it. GM could benifet from Chryslers HEMI's, yes essentials seating material, cooling/warming cupholders, cooled glovebox etc. While Chrysler could receive the interior quality upgrades, restructuring of trim levels and packaging, styling changes etc. Also, If GM could get a good enough deal, they could take all left over unsold 06 stock and sell it cheap and make profit off of it...one mans trash is another man's treasure.

Only problem is finding a saturn with low miles...O WAIT! that's right! I'm selling one with 33,000 miles!

Well, The first gens are great...at 85k miles, the breeze with the gutless 2 liter is still running stong. You could probably find a Stratus/Cirrus with the V6 for cheap

This is all happening so fast. It's way too much...Chrysler could have more success than buick...Chrysler still upholds a classy image..while buick is just known as indistructable tanks driven by old people. It's about reputation. Think about it...buick really just has enclave and lucerne...slap a chrysler grill on enclave and poof! new pacifica. Although I do like both brands...chrysler has a better future then buick. I never really liked dodge much...except he pickups and the viper...everything else is essentially reskinned.

about 3" of freezing rain...which turned into ice...now the saturn and breeze look like garbage..i hate when all that roadcrud from snow/ice accumulates on a car...luckily i had a cover over the electra

Our driveway hasnt changed in 8 YEARS same old SL1, same old breeze...wait...there is the new...or old...addition of the 66 electra

It's gonna take time...its a miracle that saturn was able to do what it did in so little time.

Nitro seems to be selling well...I see them all the time.

Saturn is doing just fine...they just need time to get their products out into the market...it's still pretty early in the whole saturn turn around thing...i just wish that they would advertise more.

I like it...but the problem is..THE 2ND GEN WAS A STEP BACK FROM THE FIRST GEN IN TERMS OF FIT AND FINISH....i wonder how the avenger stacks up against the original cloud cars....due to the fact that half the dash was soft along with all the armrests and such(first gen)...and it seems that avenger is all plastic.

You could fix mine and give it back....

So remeniscant of the cloud cars....yet they sold well.
