So they copied the Chrysler 200 rear end? And the scalloped headlamps? Why?

Couldn't they do anything to make the rear end look smaller?
Some dealers have also made agreements to meet certain milestones and quotas with GM, if they are not met. . . We have a Chevy dealer near here that is quietly on the ropes.

This sort of corporate commentary always amazes me. All I ever read out of the above is 'Our current stuff is a mistake, trust me that we'll get it right the next time'. You just don't DO this sort of thing intentionally in commerce. In this situation that phrase can be given with a straight face. They are trying to erase the Daimler/Cerberus era. Any other time, and your assessment is spot on.
I agree that the face of the 130R should be changed a little bit. Not because it doesn't work (which it does), but to be brought in line with the rest of the new Chevy faces (Impala, Traverse, et al). Leave the rest of it alone.
I wish there was more available for these cars. I am trying to slowly restore a 1976 Olds Cutlass S 2 door and parts are like hen's teeth.
That rear end looks more like it should be on the next Camaro, not Corvette. . .
I think the 2014 Sierra designers spent some time in a Ram . . .
