Industry News: Former President Bush Stands By His Decision On Auto Bailoutss
This was one of only two actions taken by his administration I can actually support. The other was going back to the moon. Everything else was junk. The current administration has made only one decision I can really support, and that is expansion of Amtrak. Once again the rest is junk. Its not the party, it's the people in power...

Fiat News: Sergio Marchionne Says Fiat 500 Sales Target Was “Incredibly Naive”
For instance there are NO dealers -excuse me STUDIOS- in my state at all. I LIKE the cars, but I will not buy something that I cannot have serviced in less than a day's drive. This IS the 21st century after all, not the late 1800's...

Really? The Explorer is ugly. I hope they take nothing from it.

Veranos on the ground!
We have two on our lot, I sat in the one in the showroom. Pretty nice. Good textures and easy reach to things. Looks a little tall head on, not so sleek next to the Regal, more like an Enclave. We will see if they sell.

Cadillac News: Cadillac Ponders A Smaller Crossover
"But for people that complain the LaCrosse is small, where else do they go really, to the Avalon for that extra 5 cu ft of room?" Exactly my point. The "large car" has gone away. There is a whole generation of Americans in their 50s to 80s with money to spend on a new car that cannot find a product they like. So they buy a large SUV. They aren't looking for more small crossovers. Not from GM, not from anyone. Without a Lucerne, a Crown Victoria, what do they do? In many cases keep their old car and complain they can't get what they want. Does anyone make a vehicle that seats 6 comfortably and gets around 30 MPG? That is what I would like, but those don't exist really either.

Cadillac News: Cadillac Ponders A Smaller Crossover
That would be stupid. I for one am tired of hearing about "small luxury" as a supposed segment. Garbage. Maybe in Europe, maybe some buyers here, but nothing that will draw in enough customers to be profitable. All I hear at my Buick dealer is people complaining about how small things are getting, no more large well optioned cars. They can't get a Lucerne so they either go up to an Enclave or go somewhere else to buy. It is enough.

Unconfirmed rumor-a name for the baby Enclave?
Our GM rep was in today, we talked a bit about he had been to a meeting in Detroit where they showed off some upcoming vehicles- including the the small Buick crossover named the Encore! He couldn't remember what platform it was on, possibly the Sonic, and didn't divulge any more details. Can anyone confirm this?

Guess Who Coming To Chevrolet's Lineup? The Spark
I still think they chose the wrong design, the Chevy Trax was far better looking. I still don't know how that contest worked out.

Guess Who Coming To Chevrolet's Lineup? The Spark
I know that GM will have to sell small/tiny cars so satisfy CAFE, but do they have to be so ugly? If I had 10k to spend I sure wouldn't choose this thing.
