LONDON — An entrepreneur in Surrey, England, boasts a nine-month waiting list for what he says is "the best car wash in the world." It ought to be; he charges $11,500 per car for the 61-step wash treatment. Paul Dalton, interviewed by the U.K.'s Daily Record newspaper, says he spends 64 hours on each car for the high-priced Pinnacle Wash treatment. Among his secret weapons is a special Brazilian wax called Zymol Royale that he keeps locked up because of its scarcity. Dalton claims his wax finishes last a year. Celebrities including soccer players and aging rocker Rod Stewart are among Dalton's clients; Stewart reportedly splurges on the Pinnacle Wash for his Ferrari Enzo. I hate those people. I also hate people who are in front of you, speeding up and slowing down, and weaving all over the road. I also hate people who tailgate...makes me wanna hit them offside the head with a tire iron.

that's the base, yeah it sucks. But they have 3 other good engines that more than make up for it.

I've been thinking this topic up for a while. Who do you know personally that has a strange taste in cars that they like/dislike love/hate? My girlfriend for example, hates the Mini, but loves, of all things, the Scion xB. I have no idea why to this day. She hates the Magnum, but loves the Charger. She loves the Mustang. She like her Geo Prism but hates Chevy..even though I told her that her logo has a Chevy emblem on it She does love the Corvette however, and is OK with the Cobalt (because I like it, and the commercials were cute). She doesn't like the Caliber cuz it looks too much like a mini Magnum, but likes the Neon SRT-4. She likes the 300, loves the PT, but hates the HHR. This is very conflicting and makes very little sense to me. SO does anyone else have a similar story?

Well styling is subjective, but IMO the 318ti is ugly. The Caliber looks very cool to me

How can you call the Caliber ugly when you want that ugly 3 series hatch?

But you have to remember that the 300, Magnum, and Charger are more than the same car with a different badge slapped on. The only component the Charger shares with the other two is the windshield. The Magnum looks totally different from the 300, since the 300 wagon isn't sold in the states. That is platofrm sharing The Torrent on the other hand, is an Equinox with a new bmumper grill and headlighs, and a new steering wheel. ANd this is badge engineering As for engine sharing, no one complains about the shared engines in teh LX cars becomes the midlevel V6 is compitent and the Hemis rock. The Torrent and Equinox on the other hand, have pretty lame engines, and not many to chose from.
