  1. How does it feel on the twisties? Previous V6 Camaros were knocked for having pretty floaty suspensions with somewhat sloppy steering.
  2. Excellent!! I hope it's going to a good home.
  3. I've finally stopped laughing after the comparisons of the Camaro to the Probe and the Daytona.
  4. The Regal looks great. It's obviously been well cared for. How is the body? Is it pretty straight, or does it have its share of parking lot battle scars? I must say these are great photos. I'm very tempted to make my next bike trip launch from San francisco. Lots of interesting scenery.

Camaro 'vert's not going to be at NAIAS. Maybe CIAS, or NYIAS, because I don't see them introducing it any later than that. Everything that's been introduced to this poing has been spot on. I personally don't think I'll ever own any of them (though I admit some intrigue for the Regal GS), but they're all winners in their respectivve segments.
  6. You know what, that's a fine pickup. Not a bad price either. Late 90s F-bodies are typically going for around 5-6 here regardless of mileage. You didn't mention that it's a Z28, so I assume you got the V6. That should serve you well as a daily driver even with six figures on the clock. Plus, you have a Firebird carcass you can pick apart if anything does go wrong with it.
  7. I can haz pics? This is the one you were meant to have. I hope it made the tiring search worth it.
  8. I can't honestly say I've ever run across anything worthwhile where I've actually thought of jumping in and taking. I have thought of breaking into a car (crudely) and moving it because the jackass parked so close that I either can't get in my door or I can't pull out of the spot without ruining the side of my car.
  9. Sorry, WK. Hey, would you take a 3rd gen? I know I see them somewhat regularly.
  10. I don't think it has anything to do with Saab. From Chevy's Facebook page:
  11. I get mine online. Doctorstrust.com, puritanspride.com, and vitacost.com - whichever one runs the best sale at the time I need them.
  12. I hope that 2010 begins better than 2009 ended. '09 was by and large OK for me, I guess. Ever since I got back from vacation in September, though, it was been pretty much a crapfest right up until the ball dropped. A lot of crap hit the fan in various relationships. Some were good and turned ugly, others were already ugly and got uglier, and my capacity to be happy or optimistic is pretty much sapped. And for that I hope the door didn't hit 2009 in the ass on the way out.
  13. Check your antivirus program if you have one. Sometimes the mail scanner/spam protector/etc. gets in the way causing either a timeout or very long response time. Disable the whole thing temporarily and see if that allows the messages to go through. if that's the case, go into the AV program and turn off whatever mail protection is turned on. I never install that anyway - needless waste of resources.
  14. Look at the vertical seam in the lower right corner of this photo by the HVAC vent. The gap appears to be wider on the top than it is on the bottom. There's also an issue with that same center stack panel where it meets the top part of the dash directly underneath the vent. The gap there is narrower than the gap between the lower dash and the upper dash. I see what he's saying, but I also see what he's saying in that it's minor. I've seen worse in more expensive vehicles. If he were an average driver and not a keen-eyed reviewer, that would probably go unnoticed.
  15. Nice job. I really hope they've got a coupe in the works.
  16. Me - none. I'd love to have one of the 53-55 Corvettes, a sedan delivery or Nomad, or maybe even a 55-57 T-bird. Most of the other stuff is too big for my tastes. My father has the 55 Bel Air that he's redoing, and the '55 rustpile that he inherited from my grandfather that will, unfortunately, have to be junked once the project is done.
  17. 1985 IROC 30K original miles. 2 bids. $2550. 8 days left on the auction. My crystal ball tells me he'll get his 10K. Stuff that in your Corolla's tailpipe and smoke it. Heck, I'm having a hard time deciding between it and new furniture. I'm a sucker for black/red.
  18. Actually, yes. Windsor Locks, CT, near the northern border of the state.
  19. Either this guy's an idiot, or the marketing for Chevy's photography line is pretty poor. clicky

  21. Happy Universal, Non-Denominational, Inoffensive, Generic Time of Happiness, Reflection, and Celebration. J/k. Merry Christmass all. No travel plans or anything like that. Just trying to celebrate the relationships and friendships that are going strong while holding out hope that the ones that are in peril somehow mend. Oh and it's my last Christmas as a tenant - this time next year I should be settled in my new place.
  22. Happy Birthday, Roger!!
  23. Today someone at work gave me homemade cream puffs, another person gave me walnuts cooked in wine, and I won a long sleeve T-shirt in a raffle for donating blood. In general I'm with Paulie though. Good days have been hard to come by lately.
  24. Hah - I knew exactly where you were going with the title when I saw it. Congratulations! Can't wait to see the pics.
