The current Corolla is a lousy car that Toyota cannot replace soon enough. Like the Camry, it's for people who want a low-risk purchase, and it is likewise steeped in mediocrity and is not a pleasant driving experience. The Japanese market Corolla looks dumpy to me.

I've decided that getting a new vehicle every couple of years is not a good way to spend money, so there's nothing in the immediate future. But the new CTS is a possiblity, and I still have interest in a plug-in hybrid or pure electric vehicle.

It's good to know that there are continuing signs of life coming out of GM. On AH-HA's short-lived blog, there were a couple of pics of an updated STS, but it looked like a minor refresh (grille, taillights). Maybe that's coming in '08 and the more significant upgrade a couple of years later? On the other hand, who would buy the existing STS when the spectacular new CTS comes out?

That's true. Toyota, with the billions and billions it's sitting on, still cannot get the Supra out yet.I also like the G35 Coupe more, and it's getting redone soon. When is it the Z's turn? The interior of the 350Z when it first came out was a real turnoff. The updates last year made the interior much more hospitable.

I'm not a fan of the bulge at all, but it does have a historical connection.

This car never had the grace of the last Z. I hope it gets redesigned soon.

The Lagonda was one of my favorite vehicles at the time. Boxy styling was in then, and this took it to an extreme. The interior was very "high tech" with all the digital displays and buttons galore.

I'm with razoredge, park in the back and walk. An interesting trend is back-in angle parking on the street. That takes away one of the biggest drawbacks of angle parking--backing up blind.

Mitsubishi needs to look at niches to survive, and if Mitsubishi comes out with the first mass-produced lithium ion car, they can finally have a reason for people to look at the brand.
