  1. Malibu also has a tilt and telescoping steering wheel, and (available) power adjustable pedals. Its almost impossible not to find a comfortable driving position.
  2. Am I crazy for thinking about giving em a call? Imagine having Lightfoots car as a winter beater!
  3. The ad: http://www.trader.ca/Search/Details.asp?mk...;ADS=6566473%7C The man: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordon_Lightfoot Some confirmation: http://www.corfid.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=14850
  4. They should have saved the Vibe and Escalades for LA.
  5. That detail is THE definition of "it doesn't cost anymore money to make it look good".
  6. Yes, very good eye. The front clip is a slightly different tint. If you look at RangerVT's pictures, you can see the same thing. http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...ost&id=1321 And yes, the cut line was slightly off only on that side of the hood. All other body panels were perfect. I too wish they didn't have the lower opening, but its there for cooling. It ruins the flow of the new grille IMO.
  7. Very tight panel gaps all around, and it makes the old car look like a box.
  8. My local Chevy store (here in Toronto, Canada) just recieved the new 2008 Malibu. They had an LS model parked outside, between an Impala and 07 malibu. Here are some pictures that will give you a good idea of how the car compares and looks in natural morning light. VIDEO!: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=uIxhEKh2XXo Sorry for the graininess, I had the ISO a bit too high. continued next post...
  9. My dealer has just received 2 new Bu's. Man does it make the outgoing model look bad! I have a few pictures, but Ill show you one to illustrate...
  10. Also for Bryan Nesbitt along the same lines, what heritage Chevrolets are inspirations for him, and what are some of his favorite classic GM cars. I would really like to know, and it would give insight to future design cues.
  11. So, um, the special edition deletes the rear bowtie? Does it come in red with black stripes?
  12. Painful to watch engineers/marketers follow scripts...but fun to watch them answer live questions!
  13. video seems choppy on my end ???
  14. Its about to start...whos watching?
  15. Google dude! http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/dda/deta...ar_id=231908225 I always thought the Cobalt coupe needed stripes ala Chevelle. Red car with black stripes and Im happy.
  16. I think it looks really really good. Can't mistaken it for anything but a Vibe, yet it looks very modern and fresh. Thanks for the videos Griffon! PS You have your first subscriber lol
  17. Im just glad it now has a telescoping steering wheel! The Vibe needed one bad. I will finally be able to sit behind the wheel comfortably!
  18. Thats what I wanted to see too. Thankfully, Autoblog has one:
  19. I just remembered another cool storm trooper style car... 1988 Lincoln Machete concept!
  20. It seems that whoever is in charge of SEMA press photography at GM really didn't care this year. The truck is nice. Slap on an SS badge and be done with it.
  21. I just wanted to get back to this point. We now have more "real life" pictures here and it does seem to be that there is a slight difference! The LTZ has a bluish glow. Malibu LTZ Malibu 2LT
  22. So awesome! And where is that other site. GM didn't put them inside the news pamphlet. Hahaa!
