  1. Don't tell that to Chip, you'll break his heart!
  2. I cought something while comparing to the old model. They went to a single bulb tailamp design (I think). Cheap bastards! 2005: 2008: And for the hell of it, heres the old front vs new: 2005: 2008:
  3. Courtesy of chairmandave, of nasioc.com My sentiments exactly.
  4. This would have been better. Much better.
  5. What he said.
  6. Thats not really a "UTE", but a 2 person Concorde with a HUGE trunk. The way the cabin is chopped of really excentuates the cab-forward-ness of that car. Yikes!
  7. Thats not entirely true. GM made an effort to show of the designers this time. On GM Fastlane Blog, Clay Dean did the intro write-up. Clay is the Lead designer. http://fastlane.gmblogs.com/archives/2007/...u_best_vie.html And, on GM FYI Blog, John Mack (Director of Design for Small and Mid-Sized Car Interiors) and Tim Kozub (Malibu Exterior Design Manager) both talk about the car in studio: http://fyi.gmblogs.com/2007/01/video_the_2...evy_malibu.html The dual split grille isn't new, but the shape is now more shield-like and bolder than before. Back on topic, I see a tiny bit of Jetta in the 08 'Bu. Theres a hint of it in the way the window line meets the c-pillar, and the tailights have a VW-esque quality. Bit thats it.
  8. Here is a brief video of the Enclave on the last day of the show. Was running low on battery power, so its 16 seconds though.
  9. Good vintage. A true Mercedes! Looks to be in impecable shape too. Congrats!
  10. Horrible news. Toronto is in a condo rush to oblivion . Nothing is sacred. This gives me an excuse to go there one last time. Very very sad.
  11. Eh, this thread is getting dicey. Im going to side with 68 here. Its the guys property, his pigs, and he can do what he wants. KIA knew there was a pig farm next door, and still chose that site. They can deal with the problems that arise from that decision. It is disrespectfull to their faith what he is doing, but cry me a river. I dont see the comparison to cross burning here at all. um..flame suit on...
  12. Thats the whole point. You got thier little mind game.
  13. It is unpainted plastic, but it doesn't look that bad in person.
  14. Is it me, or was there very little people at the show yesterday? It seemed completely dead at the north building (haha ghost-like at Chrysler). The GM/Toyota split in SkyDome (damn you Rogers) was interesting, but I agree with what Biz is saying. The Monte in a corner was sad. One real highlight is the Saab Aero X, which must be seen in person! I will go again this evening.
  15. Im going to the show today. Will take lots of pictures and video. :AH-HA_wink:
  16. They all work. That G8 is damn cool!
  17. The GM presenter girls. Oh, and um, the G8. Oh, and the Astra. Take some good pictures of the FiveHun....Taurus. To have a proper record of it in case Ford changes the name again. I wonder if the car they have is just the one from Detroit, rebadged. Lucky you, I can watch the show at least from the live cams though.
  18. Check out Mark Fields making the announcment - video at autoblog! Hahaha! http://www.autoblog.com/2007/02/07/fords-m...aurus-and-sabl/
