So here i am, 1 month away from graduating High School... Scary. A few months ago i applied to Adelphi University, for Criminal Justice... they told me at the time i was getting a scholarship for my academics, but didnt tell me how much. Tuition + fees comes to $24,000 a year, and without winning the lottery, there would be no way i could go. I applied for every financial aid i could, and since my family is pretty poor, i hoped that would help. Welllllllllllllllllllllll i just got the letter a few days ago... $13,000 from Adelphi for Academics $1,500 from a Federal SOEG Grant $5000 From NYS Tuition Assistance Program $4,750 from Federal Pell Grant grand total of $24,250!!!!! IM GOING TO COLLEGE! WOOT!

i pay 3K a year for basic liability for a 31 year old car... thats including the 300 dollar drivers ed discount.... after my little incident with the pole in the rain, my fender is f**ked.... the dent is only a few inches, but its on the top body line so its gotta be replaced.... im trying to look for the positive in this, so since the paint is HORRIBLE anyway, im thinking new fender and maybbe a cowl hood for good measure, sand the car down to bare metal and get rid of the bondo, and get the car as straight as possible.... the whole car in flat black primer might look badass until i get the car painted god i wish i had full insurance!

they just mentioned this on the CW 11 news..... and made it sound like GM was closing down forever...

theres one being built a few miles away, at the same station that sells 100octane.... mmm E85 nova... if the prices warrant the conversion..

my eventual plans include getting a K5 and welding the biggest I beam possible to the front of it.... this would be an awesome circumstance to use it!
