Nissan's fine, their JDM cars are nice. It's really just the North American ones are really bad. As I always say, I'm always glad to take the G35 badged as a Nissan Skyline, but I will never buy an Infiniti.

This year's the last year for the Torrent AFAIU... I don't see why they would spend more money to change the engine.

I'm usually getting 23 MPG, and I'm pretty heavy on the gas. I also have the older 3.5 engine, only have 201hp. The transmission is less aggressive than the GT.

Crazy idea, but Acura shouldn't even be on Cadillac's target list. As Pontiac continues to move upmarket and focused, BPG should handle Acura with no problems.

The G6 always had it... just that you had to get the most expensive one. This time the change was the mass market 6T40 version.

I can't see how that would scale. Additional variations of parts means more cost. While on the retail numbers it might help, but costs would certainly go way up. Although I do agree that the G6 (or any car as a matter of fact) shouldn't be the rental whore.

Let's see... Get one, debadge the SS, replace the body kit with the base one, then put LS and wheel covers on it. Then see how many ricers taken down.

That's pretty much what the SRX was... a CTS wagon with a crossover suspension. Now if they DO make an AWD version to replace the SRX and compete with the Allroad and XC70, that would be interesting.
