GM sells 9.09M vehicles in '06
So a 50K per year difference between them? That isn't a lot but it is still a difference. Lets home GM Arabia and GM China can pull up the GM NA slack.

Toyota Stages World Debut of All-New 2007 Tundra CrewMax @ NAIAS
OC I don't think you meant to have that dollar sign there, just a heads up. I will remove this once you fix it.

Toyota Stages World Debut of All-New 2007 Tundra CrewMax @ NAIAS
That wasn't the argument that was being presented. The argument was that the 5.7 Tundra topped the GMT900s completely, with an assumed emphasis on powertrain, so I showed that that wasn't true.OK so new argument your saying that the value of the 5.7 Tundra which will apparently be the volume engine is better than the GMT900s and your saying that the better gas mileage of the 5.7 makes it superior to the 6.2 Denali. Do I have the arguments you are presenting right? If so then I will reply in my next post.

Toyota Stages World Debut of All-New 2007 Tundra CrewMax @ NAIAS
While the truck may trump the GMT800s it doesn't top the 900s. While the 5.3 and 6.0 V8s are down on power (and paired to the 4 speed auto) the 6.2L V8 6 speed combo found in the GMC Sierra Denali is outpowering even the new Toyota 5.7. It has 403hp and around 401 ft/lbs of torque if I remember correctly. It isn't like GM couldn't up the production of the 6.2 and lower 5.3 or even 6.0 production to make the volume high enough to put the 6.2 in the Silverado as a lower volume engine to stay on tops in power. And lets not forget that there is a SC version of the Gen IV V8s coming in the not to distant future that will easily put whatever GM models it wishes to the top of the power range.

GMX/T PLATFORM
T is the truck code, hence GMT900, GMT355...The Astra is on an update T-body but it likely has its own GMX code as well.

Toyota Stages World Debut of All-New 2007 Tundra CrewMax @ NAIAS
Hmmm...Looks like they had this thing traveling to/from the Georgetown plant and the Southern Indiana truck plant given its location, it is on I65 headed through Louisville, KY. Interesting to see them showing a picture of the Nav that is in Ford Country, Ford's SD trucks and Explorers are both made in Louisville.

So far I dont likeit and that pisses me off. I liked the car so much based on the spy photos on the street but from these pics I am going to say it looks as off as the current DTS.

They're getting ready!
I am not convinced of that. The vehicle in question looks way to thin to be a 9-7 and we all know the 9-7 won't be in production much longer at all. That combined with knowing the 9-4 will debut at Detroit it only makes sense.

Who is going to the 2007 NAIAS this year?
We know the 08 Cobalt is getting refreshed, and Detroit is a Chevrolet show so that is where it will likely show up.

Who is going to the 2007 NAIAS this year?
I was saying that it would likely be there.
