Same here, KY native and future resident. For now going to school in MO.
  2. Edge I like the looks a whole lot better (unless we are talking Vue RL and then I would have to compare side by side). The Escape is a better competitor to the Vue in terms of size and I personally like our 2008 Escape. I do wish we would have waited for Sync to be available but I have NO complaints about the vehicle at this time.

http://www.motorcities.com/contents/08/201...C044717891.html Mostly just fluff but I will highlight some interesting stuff. Be sure to go to the link to get the hi-res versions. A picture of the Volt's battery pack. From the article it will be b/t the front seats and go back under the rear seats. An under hood shot. Design room (I am assuming the thing under the tarp is the production Volt as well as the to the right not under the tarp is an interior buck or something similar). I am thinking the Volt will be more of a hatchback than I previously thought after seeing this. A graph showing charge and operation modes.
  4. Seeing those two side by side makes me wonder if you could swap the front bumper and lights and make a G6 MaXX.

That stripe looks REALLY nice! Money says that is the LS3 SS. Z28 will LSA powered and come later.
  6. Might want to pick up a larger SD card, 2-4 GB to make sure you get lots of good high res shots.
  7. My thoughts exactly.

Sounds like an idea I had to build a BOF car off the GMT 360 chassis suited to police duty.
  10. The only way a Smart car looks good is w/ a hyabusa engine swap. It is a supersized gocart once that is done.
  11. Did you include the hybrid tax credits on either one of those? I think the Prius is ineligible for those but both the Aura GL and Camry Hybrid are eligible ($2000 IIRC).

Try this add on. It utilizes Adobe style scrolling w/ the right click. I LOVE it, it makes me wish more programs used it (Word, OneNote).

You mean the ones who didn't do squat when Fiat exercised the "Put" option? :AH-HA_wink: I am not really scared by them.

Prove it. :AH-HA_wink: Besides international copyright laws mean jack in the EU.

That was my topic. I think it is something GM could design and sell a common block to Ford and Chrysler for their base V8s (using different heads or induction could yield enough differences to keep the 'faithful' happy while still sharing costs).
  16. A second generation/more advanced version of the Belt Alternator Starter system used in the 'mild hybrid' old Vue Greenline, Aura Greenline, and Malibu Hybrid.
  17. That would be a MAJOR announcement. Then every GM car would be a hybrid and GM could very quickly take the prize as the hybrid sales leader from Toyota.
  18. I think we should care this has a MUCH greater chance at production. I see some resemblance to the Opel Flexstream concept which is a nice surprise.

Don't worry it will grow back.
  20. The Corsa's interior is a whole league below the Festia at this point.
  21. Heck if Ford can't bring that to the states let Mazda do it. Call it the CX-3 and bring it over pronto!

I see a major flaw in your view there: water vapor acts as a greenhouse gas, almost as bad as CO2. Increased water vapor, to a small degree, would not only trap more heat but would also cause a change in the the water cycle which could change rainfall patterns as well as air and ocean currents.
  23. Well to most people it would be the plumbing but genetically it would be the presensce of the SRY gene, but it may actually appear on an X chromosome, theoretically someone can have XX sex chromosomes and be genetically and physically male. At the same time w/out the proper hormones at the proper times an XY male w/ the SRY gene will appear externally female. Medically it gets complex but philosophically I think being a man is when you realize that YOU are responsible for your own live. Any past experience doesn't define you, but instead YOU define yourself and are responsible for yourself. Once that happens you are prepared to start doing 'man things' like entering into a true and proper long term relationship or think about having children.
  24. Its to bad the Taurus is a fullsize car and the Malibu competes w/ the Fusion in the midsize category.
