  1. Is that specific to the US Zeta? Why could not the Pontiac Zeta be a sedan re-badge of the SWB Holden and the Buick Zeta a re-badged LWB Statesman?
  2. I do not like the sound of that.
  3. Is that a "You should rethink a Pontiac Zeta" Hmmm.... or a "You should be thinking more globally for production" Hmmm....
  4. But with that approach Pontiac has no Zeta, at least at Oshawa.
  5. I agree.
  6. No Monaro was profitable at 5K total volume. GTO made lots of money even if they didn't hit sales projections.
  7. Sounds like you expect a lot from Kappa II. Camaro, Impala, Buick sedan, Pontiac Zeta coupe or sedan.
  8. And when was the last time Chevy, Pontiac, or Buick engineered anything? I thought so.
  9. That is a really good argument. You can't say the Lucerne doesn't look VERY Sable like.
  10. Lets say hypothetically that GM moves all the Zetas to Oshawa. Now GM has a 60K a year program in a tiny corner of a 250K a year factory. What is GM going to do with it that under capacity? Hudson didn't answer my question and likely for good reason that has me worried for Willmington.
  11. So the plan has not been fully approved, correct? Also you didn't say anything about Willmington is that subject off limits for now?
  12. So does this mean Willmington didn't get the nod? That does not bode well for that plant. I can see GM building as many cars as it can in Oshawa, good quality and output with no health benefits to worry about. Also it makes sense under their new lean and green business model.
  13. NAV is Optional on Lucerne.
  14. MY1997 on the LQ1, I got one so I know for sure.
  15. Sounds like GM decided to get serious about the G6 afterall. This could be the first step in GM deciding to rekindle the Pontiac flame.

How about we end this thread as nothing good will come of it continuing?
  17. I love this pic I found of the G6 GXP!
  18. Passat tail lights and Avalanche front minus the lower lights are not a good combination.
  19. I like it. Subdued styling but still strong and muscular. Maybe not quite Euro enough for some but still nice looking.

I think you mean BAS hybrid system. The Two mode uses two engines and they work together to have better at speed addition and performance.

No bar code in the lower right front windshield so it is more than likely just a personal modified car. Also what plates were on it?
  22. And what day is that?

Perhaps we need to define refresh and redesign. A refresh would be a small change like the 05 Malibu got, basically a new front end. A redesign would be what the 2006 Impala got, some new mechanicals along with a completely new interior and exterior. A refresh would be considered a midcycle enhancement, MCE in that the platform is not enhanced or re-worked whereas a redesign is much more thorough and costly.
